A Video of our train trip from Shizuoka (静岡 “Silent Hill”) to Numazu (沼津 “Swamp Harbor”) by means of the Tokaido Main Line, on our way to Tokyo.
Looking inland, on a clear day we’d be able to see Mt. Fuji in the distance. Alas, today luck is not with us, and the mighty mountain is hidden behind a bank of clouds congregating all around it.
Instead, way see mostly towns, with a few fields in between. We also cross two notable rivers: First Okitsugawa (興津川 “Interesting Haven River”) and then Fujikawa (富士川 “Rich Soil River”).
