Of course, it’s mainly the EN branch in shambles. The JP branch is relativement spared.

Also we can’t analyze a situation with just one metric.
VSPO! for example has 20 talents.
    Nijisanji has 177 talents.

Well, makes sense to me? Niji primarily has a JP audience that doesn’t care nearly as much as we do about the EN troubles, and that is a LARGE gap between 3rd and 4th.

    Objectively speaking here’s a YoY comparison: https://cdn.escharts.com/media/quick-upload/2023/04/Vtubers_Teams-fe84d0bd344b863e6445ca30f65d042f.png?width=619&height=348

To note is that this year they increased from 3000 most popular vtubers to 4000+ vtubers. Which obviously means most if not all are independent vtubers.

    **2023 > 2024**

    Independent: 21.7% > 36%

    Hololive: 24.6% > 22.5%

    Nijisanji: 23.8% > 19%

    Comparing total hours wise:

    Hololive: 61.84M > 90.72M (46.70% increase)

    Nijisanji: 59.83M > 76.61M (28.05% increase)

EDIT: Just bear in mind these are agency overall figures. How good/bad the respective EN branches perform is another story. We have the metrics out there but its gonna get deleted in no time 🙂

It would be interesting to see this divided by the number of talents.

VSPO 20 according to the wiki.

Vshojo 12* but only 10 would count since Michi is super new and Hime streams like once a year.

ISEGYE IDOL has only 6? Damn.
