Welcome to Kabushima Island. Home of the black tailed gulls where they breed in an island with a shrine. The Kabushima shrine is a located on a small hill surrounded by the sea. Kabushima is located in Hachinohe, Aomori. If you visit the place around mid April, you will experience the seagulls breeding season. You can see them mating and taking care of their eggs. They are all over the place inside and outside of the temple.
How to go there:
– You can take shinkansen from Tokyo directly to Hachinohe station. Then take local train from Hachinohe to Same station.
