I want to Introduce contry side of Japan. Today, I introduce “Yamano-Yado” which is Partner hotel as Tsurunoyu. If You like Hot spring “Onsen” , you should try this spa once a life-time. This place located Akita Prefecture. You Can come by Shinkansen + Local bus, Plane+Airliner from airport to hotel, or Night Bus from Tokyo to Tazawako station+ Local bus. If you drive, easy to move around and visit Kakunodate Samurai village.
Turunoyu are most difficult book, Yamano-Yado and Komagatake Onsen (both are Partner hotel of Tsurunoyu with shattle bus) are a bit easier to book. All booking avaiable from 1 day of the month, 6 month advance,7am Japanese time. If you have Japanese friend ,better ask to help Japanese friend to book the hotel .because no guarantee someone who speake english will be there that time.
