no but the cool thing is it is so cold
isn’t it yes which is nice because it’s
very hot it’s very humid as well today
where are we
got the shinkansen bullet train this
morning from Tokyo which was an old
Mighty nightmare
we missed the first one that we booked
and then we didn’t have a seat where we
could have our big suitcases you have to
reserve seats at the front and the back
of the train in order to have a suitcase
so I had mine
my legs won’t up against mine
um
we’ll upload a picture also off what it
looked like and then so it’s about two
and a half hours from Tokyo to Kyoto and
then we just dropped our bags off at our
hotel which is also a bit of a faff
because the hotel is in the station but
we came out the wrong side and
it took us a really long time to get
there basically it might also be
interesting to say what the name of
Tokyo is in relation to Kyoto yeah I say
Tokyo
Tokyo Tokyo which means East Eastern
capital or Eastern Kyoto because Kyoto
used to be the capitals that’s why it’s
called Tokyo
um but yeah so we’re now just waiting
for a train and we’re going to
an older part of Kyoto we’re going to
see some temples and shrines and we’re
also going to a really awesome Starbucks
where you literally have to sit down on
the floor and eat
your coffee I know some viewers will say
well you can sit on the floor and I say
eat your coffee I might drink your
coffee
um I know the listeners will be saying
well you can surely do that in England
but no it’s in the old Japanese style
it’s going to be very awesome as you
will see and just to mention we bought
these Cosmo cards
them up and you can use them on buses
trains Ferries

and we’ve continuing to use it here in
Canada and across cities as well it’s
not just certain cities
so we’re in Kyoto and we’ve already got
one train just getting our connecting
one now

and this chocolate looks adorable
such a cool area

was one of the places that was on my Hit
List
yes it’s matcha tiramisu so we’re now
going to go in there and enjoy that with
a nice match of tea
darling have we just gone to match a
heaven
ice cream they also sprinkled matcha on
it
but then I went for a matcha beer
and a match a Tiramisu amazing so we
could see what this tiramisu looks like
when you break into it

I’m happy
all right I thought I’d show you what
this looks like went for right now we’ve
already said it’s a bit but this
surprised me
look at that
how’s it taste
it tastes divine actually
it’s quite bitter but
yeah
so when you do actually get to the
bottom
there is the sponge bottom that you
would expect
it has been
I’d highly suggest this place that is
the matcha house
