Easy hike at Sakadoyama, Niigata in Spring brings us wonderful sighting of Katakuri or Fawn Lilly. According to Wiki, this flower is delicate and has a very short season. Katakuri is a slow-growing plant as it takes about 7 to 8 years before it finally blooms. As you can imagine how excited we were to discovered them!
