Shogun was a very popular novel in the U.S. in the late 70's that was first made into a TV movie in 1980. It corresponded with the big increase in Japanese products (mostly cars) coming to the U.S. at the time. Japan is a unique culture, glad to see your view of it. Now, when are you taking Carol back to France? I want to see her light up again like the last time 🙂
