Planning a trip to Fukuoka, Japan? Check out our Fukuoka Travel Guide!

After our Tokyo vlog series, we’re back in Japan, this time for spring, also known as cherry blossom (or sakura) season.

For the first part of our 2 week trip around Kyushu, we explore Fukuoka City 福岡市. From the bustling and vibrant energy of Hakata Station 博多駅 to the scenic and serene Ohori Park 大濠公園, there are so many things to do and places to visit in this Southern Japanese city.

Join us as we take it easy with a curry truck and bento breakfast popular among salarymen, discover the best of Kyushu via a sake festival right, stumble upon a unique cherry blossom night at Maizuru Park 舞鶴公園 , and of course, enjoy all the tamago sandos, udons and Japanese cafes along the way.

Next week, we’re going to vintage shopping in Fukuoka, so stay tuned!

  1. Moving around in Fukuoka with Hayakaken is literally like a local!! My favorite izakaya place in Hakata is “Gyoza no Las Vegas (餃子のラスベガス)”. Pls give it a try for your next visit 🥟🩶
