The closest cherry blossom in downtown Berlin, both are located along the Berlin Wall, that once divided east and west Berlin between 1961-1989.
Cherry blossom or sakura blooming season is between may and august but it seems that april is a solid bloom. Thanks to all japanese people who collected about 1 million euro to donate this lovely trees.
