Fujian is a province in China that resembles Ancient China. We started off our stay in Fujian by staying overnight in a traditional Chinese roundhouse which was a very unique experience. Over the following days we visited more traditional roundhouses in China, tasted lots of Chinese tea which is grown in the region, went out on some walks and even went for a swim in a lake.

From Fujian we boarded an overnight train further South to the China and Macau border to enter Macau and spend a few hours there.

We went from seeing a rural side of China to arriving to a fancy Macau Hotel visiting the famous Venetian Hotel, The Galaxy Hotel, seeing Old Macau including the Ruins of St Paul and eating some Egg Tarts of course.

China is huge and very diverse but experiencing two completely different parts of China within just a few days was really surprising.

Macau was the last stop on this Dragon Trip tour before returning to Hong Kong and finishing the tour. I really enjoyed my China Backpacking trip with The Dragon Trip, I hope you have enjoyed watching it and I hope you now want to visit China and backpack around China.
