Lake Ashoro straddles the border between the towns of Honbetsu and Ashoro in Hokkaido. The road that runs around Lake Ashoro is a beautiful forest road and very pleasant. There is also a cheese factory nearby, and you can buy delicious cheese at the roadside station in Ashoro.
