   福岡より大きかった過去。人口減で、福岡よりさびれた。戦後のレトロがまだある。其れでも、西日本では有数の人口を誇る。福岡の様な再開発にはまだ至らないのかな～？

    some how the name of the town looked funny to me, like they couldnt get the name Kyushu so, northern city made it kitakyushu xD
