Hi everyone I’m Neco and this is day 10 of my 3-we Japan trip we are still in yufuin cusu and we have to say goodbye to this beautiful hotel where we stayed last night the view was so pretty I didn’t want to leave but we asked the

Stuff to call a taxi for us to avoid walking 30 minutes so we could save some time and energy it was my first taxi ride in Japan and we didn’t know that the hotel would come up with a taxi fee so that was such a nice surprise and we were so grateful for

It the taxi experience was similar to the ones I know from other countries and the driver was so polite when he let us out at Yuen station we wanted to grab some breakfast in a spot close to kindan Lake because it looked so cozy but we

Arrived there and it was still close as we came here quite early most breakfast places open at 10: or even 11:00 a.m. in Japan so consider that in your day planning since we already lost time by walking there we decided to go to the myy bakery we saw yesterday on the way

There we passed Flor Village again and it was so empty in the morning so we took a few videos and pictures before continuing if you want to see more of this I recommend you to watch my last Vlog it was so pretty today as it wasn’t

That c it the bakery didn’t have a lot of visitors so we picked up some snacks for breakfast I don’t know why they pack everything in plastic as it’s not good for the environment and it would look cuter without it as well but well I noticed that Japan is slowly working on

That issue while Kevin was waiting for his coffee I went upstairs and I was a bit surprised they only had tables for standing there and the only seats that were available were for kids so they were very small great as Kevin is 2 m tall and we wanted to have a cozy

Breakfast sitting somewhere the interior was very cute though and it gave me Cottage core Vibes and I love Kevin’s reaction when he noticed the seats we still found a little corner where we could sit and Kevin had a cube bread which was filled with well you’re

Going to see it but it was mainly air and both of us were a bit surprised I had this super cute Muffy bread which is filled with chicken and it was delicious but it was a bit small so this whole experience was a little bit disappointing as we were still hungry

And we decided to look for a second breakfast place as we suddenly turned into Hobbits while we were in Japan I guess that’s the only explanation for it in this side alley I found another place in Google and I show you the way there the other way around as I didn’t film

When we got there but you see this sign here and take up the stairs and then you arrive in this Cafe you don’t see a lot of Western tourists in yine but all of them met here including us I guess we all just wanted some proper breakfast

And what you got here was so amazing and it was so delicious so it was totally worth coming here and oh my God it was so much better here and even cheaper than the three things we got at the Mei Bakery the sandwich had tasted really

Good and I was ready for the day most visitors also left and they were ready to explore the city for us it was time to leave yine we really wanted to visit beu as well and we were so lucky as we got seats for the sseeing train everyone

Was so excited for the train to arrive as it has some bigger windows and special snacks which makes it a unique experience and it even has a beautiful logo this is how it looks like from the inside a bit old school but still fancy and our seats were in the back where a

Huge window let you see all of the seats scenery the train was passing through as we came here spontaneously we didn’t order any snack in at once but it was okay as we just ate something so yeah if you want to take this train from Hakata

To yuin make sure to reserve a place as soon as you have your rail pass as they are booked out in advance I loved watching all of this nature on our way way to beu and it was another sunny day in November I was so

Happy about that we arrived in beu and I did not take a video of the train station but we immediately took a bus to our first destination one of the hells of beu be’s Hells are a series of spectacular Hot Springs what makes them special is their vibrant and

Otherworldly appearance due to different mineral composition in each spring the seven major Hot Springs known as the house of pepu show striking colors ranging from a deep blue to a blood red and they’re created by the high concentration of minerals like iron sulfur and magnesium in them because of

Time reasons and because you had to pay an entrance fee for each one we only visited two of those this one being our first and we paid 400 Yen for the entrance fee you can also pay 2,000 yen to see all of them there was steam everywhere and it smelled kind of bad

The whole attraction was in a beautiful Park and they really put a lot of effort into this you can see one of the hells steaming like crazy and everyone was taking pictures I don’t know what I’m doing here but Kevin told me to avoid doing this as it

Stinks in the steam but I still did it un complained that it smelled afterwards I don’t know what I thought but yeah I guess I thought it would look really cool but yeah it kind of failed and here we struggle to find a proper spot where

Both of us are on the video and then I wanted to go see the Tory gate you saw in the last clip this part was so cute with a small red bridge and again it reminded me of my Animal Crossing Island everything reminds me of it you can’t

Leave the house with an animal crossing player at the end of the gates it was a small Shrine so we turned around and continued with our little tour those HS may be looking inviting with their clear water but they’re actually 98° C hot so I would avoid

Taking a bath in them they even had this red hot spring which literally looked like it comes out of hell so that was a really cool spot when you follow the road you find a huge Greenhouse with water lies I wonder if those lily pads could hold me I’m

Just kidding but apparently the greenhouse is powered by the hot springs as well which is quite cool I really like this hell and it seems to be very popular among the people as well so I really recommend Ed they even had food baths but I was wearing THS so I had to

Skip this part would be really nice after all of the walking we did on this whole trip though then we left this attraction and oh my God some of the buses looked like Onis and had little horns I didn’t take a proper video but you can pause it to see it in the

Beginning I really love those cute Concepts in Japan I think in the next video I will show another special bus we arrived at the next H and I really like this one as much as well the entrance fee was 400 Yen again when I used to

Stream on which my masket was a stone that was painted to look like a cat and I was so excited when I saw the variety of stones like my cat Stone I felt like I was destined to come to this place they looked so funny and cute at the

Same time and they filled my heart with Happiness also this is what I assume happens after you have Taco Bell but I’m from Germany so I can’t tell if it’s true or not and they also had a giant Oni statue which looked super cool as it was fighting with a dragon in this hell they had more

Interactive stuff going on you could try some of the onson water as well and I told Kevin to drink it immediately he asked me if I’m crazy because it’s very hot so we had to wait how boring then I tried it as well but even though we

Waited it was still hot and you can see that I wasn’t the biggest fan of it when I tried it this is why I don’t like tea either the time frame for drinking it in a perfect temperature is just so short it’s frustrating and they also let you

Try some food that was steamed in the hot springs I mean okay you had to pay for it but it was so worth it and next to the tables for food you could take a food bath as well so you can eat it while resting I tried this onson pudding

First and oh my God it was so delicious it was not too sweet and if I could I would love to eat that again right now I don’t know what the egg said that made me laugh so much but we also tried this one one as it was onen egg while Kevin

Was eating a person that worked there came and asked us if we can put some soy sauce and salt on it as it makes the taste even better Kevin thanked him and he was right it really made the egg taste even better I would definitely recommend to come to this hell as well

As it’s a short walk from the other one we’ve been to we continued our tour but unfortunately most of the information was in Japanese and they even did some tours in there but they were in Japanese as well but it was still interesting to watch even if we didn’t understand what

It was about We left the hell and we were greeted by steam coming over the roads of beu every everywhere which looked really cool it is such a unique City we walked to a very special restaurant and we were lucky because the way time was not too long on the day the restaurant lets you

Choose your food and steam it on the heat of the hot springs afterwards this was such a cool experience when our number got called we could go to this display and choose what we wanted for our lunch the menu was in English as well so it was not too complicated after

That you have to wait until they call you and prepare your order and then you bring it to an assigned space at the steamer the stuff explains to you what you have to do and helps you and then puts it in there and you get a timer so

You know when your food is ready I was a bit overwhelmed with what I had to do but in the end it wasn’t a problem at all and I managed to do it very well I guess a few moments later hey it was Kevin’s turn to get our

Food out of the steamer again and they had plenty of seats upstairs left so we went there and the food was delicious we got some steamed rice some eggs dumplings and some meat we should have gotten more as we were not full yet but this experience is kind of pricey at

Least I felt like it was not the cheapest meal that we had but it was delicious and we had an unforgettable memory of it so I think it was worth it we left the restaurant as I wanted to watch the sunset from a nice location and we went on a beautiful 20-minute

Walk to a castle that overlooked beu The View on the way there was so nice it made the exhausting walk upwards worth it kiuna Castle was not crowded there was just one group of other tourists and a couple but it was also the Castle’s closing time so this could be the reason

Of it the castle looked so pretty at this time of the day they display a dead snake on the outside which apparently is the guardian of the Castle which was a bit scary but we really enjoyed this amazing view of pepu and it was totally worth coming up

Here we took the bus to the city center and it took quite a while so when we arrived at beu Tower another landmark it was already dark you could go up there but we skipped this experience for now and we went into this mall but it was

Quite outdated and I don’t know why I filmed this so we decided to walk towards the train station but most stores were already closed so we canceled our later shinkansen reservation and took an earlier train to Hakata maybe we kind of missed the city center of pepu but as we were tired it

Was okay and we were happy to return to our Hotel as we were hungry we headed to a ichiran Ramen store at the Hakata train station and the ramen was so good again then we took a stroll through the Christmas Market on the main station it was so pretty and I L the glowing decorations and I love that they had so

Many seats available we really wanted to try glue Vine they were selling here as they had a stall with a German name of mold wine as a slogan it tasted okay but I don’t really like alcoholic drinks anyway so I can’t really give you a valid opinion about That after that we went back to our hotel tell ready for the next day and thank you so much for watching everyone I see you next week for the next Vlog and I’m so excited to show you what we did

  1. I was surprised when the taxi doors in Japan (Osaka in particular) had automatic doors. Beppu looks like a good place to go in winter as the hot steam balances out the cold weather.
