Three major rivers flow through Kyoto, the Katsura River, the Uji River, and the Kizugawa River. They join together at the “三川合流地点” (Three river confluence) in Yawata City, Oyamazaki Town, and Shimamoto Town, flowing into Yodogawa River and heading toward Osaka Bay
I listened to the sound of birds chirping. Right now you can hear the warbler, which symbolizes the arrival of spring. Today I cycled from the confluence to Osaka city.
The Yodogawa Cycling Road can be used for cycling, walking, and jogging. The course is flat, with lush green scenery most of the year. You can enjoy the different atmosphere during each season. But in winter, the nature along the Yodogawa River turns from green to brown.
There are many baseball fields, and people enjoy watching games on weekends. Many people enjoy fishing in the small lake adjacent to the river. The buildings you can see in front of you are part of Umeda.
