Jiyūgaoka 自由が丘 is a neighborhood in southern Meguro, 目黒区Tokyo, Japan, consisting of districts 1-chome to 3-chome, The name also refers to the broader area surrounding Jiyūgaoka Station, which includes both Jiyūgaoka, part of Midorigaoka and nearby Okusawa in Setagaya
Jiyugaoka is a mixed residential and commercial district at the southern end of Meguro Ward. It’s also the location of Jiyugaoka Station which is a major interchange station on the private Tokyu Railway as the intersection of the Oimachi and Toyoko Lines.
