What makes people come to Sukhumvit road in Bangkok? Well, let’s find out. You saw that? Kobe Tonteki!!! If you are a pork lover, this is a perfect place for you. If you are a Japanese food lover, this is also a perfect place for you. And if you are a food lover,
This is definitely the perfect place for you! สวัสดีค่า! Hi again, friends. Jingjo from WanderFull JJ, who will be taking you to wonder around in Bangkok to eat, of course! If you’re new to my channel, subscribe and expect to see amazing food in Bangkok by an amazing host. Wait, who? Who??! Oh, me XD
It takes just only four minutes walking from PhromPhong BTS Skytrain Station, which is a popular area of Bangkok Finally, we are here at Kobe Tonteki in Phromphong 33/1 alley. It’s 12:30 and I’m starving. But you can see, there’s a long queue over there and I’m queue number 5.
So, I’m gonna have to wait for a little bit. Be ready to get your tummy filled! We are the next queue. Finally! Oh my God! It’s super hot. How can people survive? So, I was here once and I thought to myself.. Oh my God, I’d be here every day, if I had money.
But I don’t… D; Tonteki Set I ordered the 200-gram dish. If you’re hungry, then I would suggest you order the 300 grams or 400 grams. The first time I was here I did order 300 grams of pork and it was so good! There are so many dishes I wanted to order, but I didn’t.
So, you may want to order fried mixed seafood or grilled beef tongue. There are several dishes here but the must-order menu is this one! Look! If you are here and you don’t order that, then I feel pity for. I pity you. Wowww, look! Ooh my God. I’m not hungry at all, no… Useful tips!
You order this one, it’s refillable. Also, you can refill the rice and the soup.. for FREE! Can you believe it? Let’s try. Itadakimasu! Look at this big chunk of Pork! It’s very soft. The sauce is super super nice. Sorry I’m speaking and eating. I’m gonna try this one.
This one is very very soft too and chewy. A bit salty. You don’t need to use salt all. Nice one! How about this one? Very tender. The sauce is quite nice. Japanese style. A bit sweet. A bit sour. Let’s see how the score will look like starting from location and access. where I will give
5 out of 5. It’s very easy and convenient to access by the BTS skytrain system. I walked from there for less than 5 minutes. And there are 2 giant malls nearby. You can go walk around. And in the same alley of the restaurant,
There are other cafes and other places you can go eat, as well. So there are plenty of things to do. The atmosphere, 3.5 Unfortunately, the restaurant’s quite small, noisy and busy. I sat next to the other table and I could hear what they were talking about and it’s very loud.
Not to mention that you have to wait for a few minutes or up to a few hours in order to get the table. 5 for presentation! All the dishes looked so so good and appetizing. Maybe i was hungry! Taste. I’m giving 4.5 out of 5. So, Kobe Tonteki Set. It was a beast!
I loved it so much, nothing could ever beat that! Also, the grilled marinated pork was good as well and it surprised me. However, the fried porkloin cutlet set disappointed me a little bit. It’s not bad, but it’s quite so so. So,.. Price will be 4.5, as well.
It’s not too bad, you’re getting good quality of food . Overall score… 4.5 Overall, I think it’s a good place to come, especially for the Kobe Tonteki set. It was amazing. I loved it so much. I can just come here for that.
Even though, you have to wait for a little bit, but it was worth it. You know, it’s very tender, juicy. You have to try this. Come and try! Behind me we have Custard Nakamura which is a famous bakery, Japanese one, you can walk to. After you finish the pork, come for desserts here.
Also, in PhromPhong, we have 2 giant malls. One is Emquartier, behind me. The other one across the road is Emporium. Leave some comments below, if you want me to explore some shops inside! So, did I make you get out of your chair, leave the house or the hotel, to Sukhumvit road? Thank you for watching
