“Discover Kyushu Express 36 plus 3” runs on different routes from Thursday to Monday, going around Kyushu. I tried the Friday route from Kagoshima-chuo to Miyazaki.
After arriving in Miyazaki, I took a brand new ferry to Kobe

The train is awesome looking. What an kreative idea. π I guess it wouldn'twork here in Denmark. I think some people would not respect the work put in. The station meal also looked so very delicius. And helthy. π
You commented in one of your last videos when the train was coupling that you were single. π. Why? You are super amazing and funny! π€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ
What a beautiful, well organized, clean, and civilized country Japan is π―π΅ ππππππ
they waved you bye π Honestly japan is just magical, there is getting to be so many crazy young here in a america, they frighten me.
Why can't foreign travelers book private rooms on the train?
The train was beautiful but yeah train rides kind of suck on old trains.
You know I always get wondering how you get back from your destinations.
The bumpy ride made me notice and appreciate how smooth your camera work usually is, and that you have to do things one-handed. Thank you for another good video.
Hakata Torimon is my favorite! π
You maybe said this and I missed it, but 63 + 3 seems to an affordable Seven Stars experience π
One of the most gorgeous train design ever. Sadly due limited budget they try to build it on top of old carriage, this why it's very bumpy and noisy.
Skills on the ticket machine!
What a beautiful train ride I love the rain and the dessert looks so delicious but the whole ride looks very comfortable and so beautiful the countryside I would have to see the local people I would love to come and visit and enjoy a trip on this train and visit
Should have brought your ginger candies. I am prone to motion sickness also. On one of your ferry trips , you brought ginger candies with you for the sea sickness. I tried some on my next bus trip. When I started feeling woozy,, I popped a ginger candy in my mouth and in about 5 minutes that awful feeling was gone! Thank you so much for putting that travel hint in your video. By the way, hello from Abington, Ma. USA! π I really enjoy your videos.
Why are the private seats impossible to book for βforeignβ people?
You blew me away when you took the top layer off the EKIBAN meal and showed a 2nd LAYER!! I was surprised. This EKIBAN looked very delicious. Much better than the last video I watched and commented on yesterday.
BEAUTIFUL TRAIN!! The detailing is gorgeous.
It seems, based on your videos, of which Iβve watched many, that the people in Japan are lovely. Very kind and polite. Always inviting and nice to strangers.
I think when they come here to America, or are maybe born here(?), bad habits are developed and that polite gentle nature goes away. And then they become like all the many Americans I am exposed to daily (I work with the public) rude, short tempered, unkind to sales people.
Shame.
Can we use a JR pass on this train ? ^^
Thanks π
Man. That was train turbulence. Oh! Aussie Bob π
I love that so many people wave you off when you travel. β€. Aussie Bob π
Another pleasant video, thank you for it!
β¦Also found and ordered the Kagohsima green tea <3
is a train !!! choo choo
Is this train covered by JR pass?
I love the decor! It makes it look so fancy.
why nobody sitting in the lounge bar ?
Congrats on managing to eat on that bumpy train. It seemed bumpier than some planes.
I love that they used an old train like this. It is a tad tacky but the redesign has a lovely charm to it you'll never get on more modern trains. I'm sure it was worth the bumpy ride even if it's not one you'd want to ride everyday..
Hi, can you bring luggage on this train? Thank you!
You definitely seem more at ease on a ferry with an all you can eat buffet. LoL.
Wow, what an amazing experience! Thanks for sharing.
This one is wild! π€π€©π€
I enjoy your videos! I love curry too!
Thank you for a beautiful video ,solo
Beautifull interior, lots of wood, light and airy. Sounds like the cars defiantly need a suspension upgrade for a better ride
What a lovely looking train. A shame the ride wasn't comfortable. How sweet of all those people to come meet the train and to wave goodbye in the rain as it left. Heartwarming!
What a lovely locomotive… wow
I think I'd be too self conscious to eat an Ekiben on a train. A chocolate bar or something such like could be acceptable. I didn't eat on the Shinkansen trips I did in 2017.
Thank you and for the information on Kyushu is the 36th largest island and as you say San Qu – looks a nice journey love to try one day
