I traveled from home back over to Chiba and then visited the Jinyaji Buddhist Temple, then I took a ferry across Tokyo Bay to Yokosuka and then headed North up to Yokohama where I visited the Bubble Over Diner

Hey, everyone. Welcome back to my channel. Yes, I’m filming going over the Rainbow Bridge again. You know why? Because I absolutely love it. God, it’s just an amazing view. Every time I head over. So today’s plan is I’m heading back over to Chiba, because a few weeks ago, whilst I was out there,
I was on one of the routes. Did I come across a pretty interesting temple !! A really old looking temple. So I made a mental note of that. And I have gone and done my homework about it and it appears to be one of the oldest temples in the KANTO region. So
I’m going to be heading over there today and go check it out. And I will, after that, be heading elsewhere. But I will let you know once I’m leaving the temple. So come along on this trip. There’s a Little MICHINO-EKI there I want to stop. You guys know what a MICHINO-EKI is.
I’ve explained that in a previous episode. Hey, guys. so I’ve arrived here at the MICHINO-EKI I’ve explained to you in a previous episode what a MICHINO-EKI is this one specializes in a lot of local produce. So I guess that there’s a lot of peanut farms in this one
In this area because of this this region. this MICHINO-EKI specialize in peanut and got me so some chocolate wrapped peanuts, some of these coconut based peanuts, some slated peanuts I love salted peanuts, I’m big on salted peanuts and also some peanut dressing from Chiba because I’m in the Chiba district
In Chiba region at the moment for on me salad And I’m a big toast eater, usually Vegemite. But this time I’m going to try this peanut paste. It’s a great find here. I’m really happy I came here as always and have a great find in Japan. this MICHINO-EKI full of culture,
People running around doing all their shopping? Absolutely fabulous Hey everyone. I’ve just arrived here at Jinayji Temple. Now as I mentioned on the ride up here, this is one of the oldest temples in the Kanto region. I think there’s four of them. This is one of the four old ones.
And I also just really quickly like to clear up something, the difference between a temple and a shrine. Now, a shrine is typically associated to the Shinto religion or belief, which is Buddhism, which is then a temple of Buddhism. Obviously, I think it came from India, China and so forth.
In Buddhism, in temples, you have monks in Shintoism, in shrines, you have Shinto priests very often do I hear people saying things like, I’m going to a temple. Well, that’s not a temple, that’s a shrine, or I’m going to a shrine. Well, that’s not a shrine. That’s a temple.
And you can also typically also associate it with the front gate, typically in a Shinto religion, there is a TORII It looked like a red gate When you enter it, they all have they’re kind of like creatures which protect those gates and so forth as well.
You can go into a lot more detail. I know you’re off of the two, but I am very close to the Shinto belief myself. I have it in my family here in Japan, so I am going to head down now south to Chiba and then I’ll hop on a ferry,
Which is the Tokyo Bay Ferry. I’m going to cross over to what we call to a place called Yokosuka. And that’s where the Navy bases, hopefully I see a big Navy boat there from the US. If not, then I’m going to head up to the North
And back to the Tokyo area where I live. So come along, guys, with me on this one. And then as soon as we get on the ferry, I’ll connect again. Thanks, guys. do you have a ticket ???? no i don’t have a ticket yet hurry hurry, there isn’t much time left
Hello can i please have a ticket how big is your bike ? “my bike is the largest” So you just asked me how big my motorbike is in kilos and I just had a blank. I said it’s a very big motorbike. So that’s going to cost me ¥2,800. thank you very much
Sweet I can get on this ferry Nice. put your motorbike on the side stand please ? “Yes Sir” This is awesome. I was able to make this ferry, that nice guy there. he was able to, to get me across as you can see, guys have made it on the ferry.
Boy, that was a last minute dash. As I was just pulling up, the guy ran over to me and he said, If you hurry up, you can still make this one, which is great because I think you need to wait maybe one hour again until the next ferry comes,
Which would have been a bit of a bummer. it would of delayed me a little bit? So I’ve made it onto the ferry, as you would have just seen from the footage. the motorbike been locked down. It’s only a short one. I think it’s only like 40 minutes to get across.
So as we get off at Yokosuka area from the ferry, we will then carry on a little bit, see if I can get as close as possible to where the the large US vessels are docked from the Navy. If there’s nothing there in the port at this time, no worries.
I wanted to be on that side of the bay under Yokohama anyhow, because I’ve got a restaurant I want to go to. I haven’t eaten anything so far this day today. So I’m going to head up there and hopefully I can get something nice to eat on the way home. Right. So, yeah.
So lets, I want to go check out this this ferry. looks like we’re getting closer to Yokosuka, the base. I can see some ships coming up. I see some land arriving as well. So as soon as they open up the gate, I’m going to head downstairs and get the motorbike
And get out of here. Get on the boat. And I head up north towards Yokohama. There is a boat Look at that big boy. Right guys I have arrived. At the restaurant here that I wanted to go to for a very long time. I’m just parked around the back here.
I’m going to walk around the side and hopefully they’re open. I think they are open. I didn’t see on the website that they had any afternoon or closing time, whatever. So let’s see. They also have cake. Me love a piece of cake. Let’s go check this out. Double cheeseburger,
Which drink do you want ? Umm do you have Sparkling Water ? Todays Cake which one is it ? Let’s see how good this cheeseburger is. If it’s better than mine, Wow. I highly recommend anyone to come here. I’m going to drop it. A link. It’s called the Bubble Over American Diner.
I’m the highly recommend anyone. You must come here if you’re in the Yokohama area. Absolutely amazing. When you step into that restaurant, you actually feel like you’re stepping into the US. You’re in a different country. Country bumpkin music, which I love. Absolutely phenomenal. The cheeseburger was great. The apple pie was amazing
And the staff are so friendly and they’re amazing, absolutely amazing. When you’re in the Yokohama area, you must come here !! Right guys, so that’s going to probably be the end of this episode. I’m going to start making my way back on the motorway back home. Please like and
Subscribe to this episode and we will see you on the next one.

I enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and Bubble Over looks like a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. I'll have to go to the nearby McDonald's instead tomorrow.
Hi Arch, lovely scenery as ever and that burger looked fab… and I’m a vegetarian!😂
Hi Arch, every time after watching your video I want to go to Japan! This was an awesome vlog! Great scenery! Great music and mate I would smash one of those double cheeseburgers and still have room for cake 👍

Mate another great video well done! Scenery fantastic, diner looked awesome, the whole ferry component of your ride is very cool. I am missing the jazz whilst fuelling up though! Again great effort and local history. Thankyou.
