8.44am train to Hakodate
12pm Lunch at Asaichi Shokudo Nibankan – 500yen Kaisendon
1.30pm Mt Hakodate ropeway (rain forecast at night so visit at arvo)
3pm Attractions: Hakodate Orthodox Church, Hachiman-Zaka Slope, Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward, Former British Consulate of Hakodate
4pm Dessert at Kikuizumi – tofu parfait
4.30pm Dessert at Angelique Voyage – crepe
5pm Lunch again at Lucky Pierrot
5.30pm window shopping at Kanemori Red Brick and Meijikan
6.30pm Check in, do laundry, pillow selection, Hotel Onsen and Coffee Lounge
7pm Dinner at Gyosanko – Izakaya
8pm Dinner again at Yondaime Ramen – Shio Ramen
9pm walked around Daimon Yokocho

Day 6 is the day we head to Hakodate known to be one of the most popular tourist destination in Hokkaido in the winter months before heading there we hit the onsen one more time and had the widest election of modern Japanese Fusion buffet breakfast give yourself plenty of time to enjoy
All this amazing food and views oh yeah ice cream for breakfast after catching the bus shinkansen and local train we finally arrived at Hakodate subscribe and turn on the notification bell to follow my full itinerary for the entire north of Japan first things first we tried to renowned 500 yen Kaisendon
At Asaichi Shokudo Nibankan so good the place is at the famous morning market right next to our hotel we knew that it was going to rain in the whole evening so we decided to do the Mount Hakodate Ropeway at midday instead of doing at night the views are spectacular look at this
Make sure you do the cable car here the place offers a 360 degrees view of the beautiful city next time we will visit this at night after this we walk around the area to visit Hakodate Orthodox Church The Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward this blue thing that blue thing and finally
We arrived at Kikuizumi super cute spot with traditional tea house vibes for the best tofu parfait in town 10 out of 10 must visit next we have mille feuille crepes at Angelique Voyage this and the tofu place can have 2 hours wait during peak season another 10 out of 10 dessert place Yum!
Next we headed to Lucky Pierrot for the world famous Hokkaido burger very unique style interior is fun and selection is very interesting we ordered the classic Lucky Burger and Chinese burger yummy easily 10 out of 10 for me and check out what my neighbour got oh my god as it started raining
We crossed the road to some seafood market survey the price of seafoods and thinking about dinner already check out the popular Kanemori Red Brick and Meijikan shopping complex there are two things you have to eat in Hakodate first is the seafood and what is better than having grilled
Fresh seafood at an izakaya or pub I love watching chefs preparing everything right in front of us we ordered all the unique Japanese seafood at Gyosanko like surf clams both grilled and raw grilled is better in my opinion also rare ones like the Sailfin Poacher fish Blackthroat fish and squid stuffed with innards
And not to forget some yakiniku or grilled beef so good 10 out of 10 recommend this place the second must eat dish here is shio or salt ramen at Yondaime Ramen as usual it’s always a pay before you eat using a vending machine in Japan the broth is so refreshing
And the noodle is cooked to perfection 10 out of 10 Today is just 10 out of 10 for everything after a long day we head back to JR INN picked our special pillows do our laundry and head up to the top floor for some relaxing onsen
