First Impressions of UDAIPUR, India 🇮🇳

I visited Udaipur in Rajasthan and was instantly blown away by the beauty and calmness of the city, I visited the famous city palace aswell as spoke to locals and bought some items on the way. Whilst it was extremely hot I still had a great day and can’t wait to visit again.

Good morning guys from udaipur india today we’re in the north the very northwest of india we’re getting into the desert now and we’re going to be exploring this city i have to say first impressions very very first question i think i’m going to love this

Place i think it’s gonna be one of my favorite cities if not my favorite city um it’s getting like proper venice vibes as you can see it’s uh the city of lakes it’s built around a number of lakes and so it kind of just you know anything around water just makes it very

Beautiful you see the architecture of the buildings is very beautiful beautiful and we also have um lots of like high rooftops with like really trendy bars trendy cafes and very modern vibes here so i’m excited to show you guys around really excited as you can see we got like some uh hindu

Temple and uh shrines over here looking super beautiful and yeah super touristy uh place uh udaipur very touristy here so we’re gonna get a lot of uh tourist uh shops and stuff which is can be good can be good you also get a few uh touts who uh try and get somebody

Like like your man over here or maybe he was just saying hi who knows we also get some bikes i’m sure you guys already know this but the locals here are really really friendly i have to say like even when i haven’t got the camera on they’re really really nice really

Friendly people and yeah early morning it’s pretty quiet you don’t get as many beeps and stuff um but even you can see here it kind of like reminds me of nepal even though i’ve actually never been to nepal like the thin tall uh streets um kind of hilly as well in

This area i think i’m in like the older area the old town area and yeah i actually really like it wow okay so And making oh my god today yeah today oh my god you can feel it’s kind of like uh it’s still still got the powder on it so impressive more than jelly pin ganesha but this will turn into which one no In england sir uh let’s have a look whoa it’s like a box that’s so smooth oh my god how’s the uh oh it’s even got screws on it it’s got um wow oh yeah marble marble it’s so beautiful Thank you very much got a nice elephant actually i will uh i’ll i’ll keep it in the packaging okay thank you very much nice to meet you as you can see we got loads of tourist shops lots of like art art seems to be the main thing we’ve

Also got art and fabrics and stuff and then obviously like restaurants and guest houses and it feels like we’re back in you know tourists hot spot it’s been the first time in the whole of india where i’ve seen kind of like an area designed just for tourists and

It’s cool to see but in fact there’s there’s no tourists here um i’m not sure why i’m going to head up this way this is where uh this is where my hotel is actually namaskar and information about traveling yeah i just heard that international flights i’ve just been resumed

Uh from like all countries at the moment before it was just some countries which was why i was able to travel this is such a perfect ending for me um obviously my my nga trip is coming to an end i only have a 30-day visa and

Um that was i was very strict for time anyway and the fact that i also got a little bit ill towards the end meant that i uh i’ve had to quickly go around rajasthan and so udaipur is probably my last stop i haven’t had time to go to jodhpur

Because i was ill but next time i will and obviously all your you guys recommendations you’ve been telling me to go to obviously gujarat himalayas so many other places um but that will be for series two unfortunately can’t extend my visa but uh yeah i’ll be next time see like so many

24 years make this temple so it was built around the start of when the city was yeah 16 16 51. elephant means good luck good luck horse for power and camel for love you know why it’s camel for love because camel mouth or very bad smile

We use the color the color we are using all the stone colors it’s very it’s like very realistic like the colors really the colors we are all the stones really really nice like vibrant i’d say the red we get from red oxide oh it’s from a stone yes the black we get from

Multani we are using all the stone color we don’t use artificial chemical color because chemical color are not to stay long time on painting oh so this will this will last longer yes so six basic after six color mix and make many colors we use also gold and

Silver in the painting and the brushes are very fine we are using from the squirrel here real gold yes buy from the local bazaar oh wow yeah so these are expensive yeah oh my god wow what is always expensive yeah yeah and the brush is from squidon this honeymoon

Squirrel yes but we don’t kill we just cage cut the hair from the tail part and then we leave it no way awesome how do you catch the squirrel that’s quite party bread we throw the big bed light wet then we glow go close take a few hair and make it oh awesome

Because they’ve got collars around my neck but it’s funny how they’re just so adapted to city life like they i see them moving out the way of traffic and stuff like that okay anyway we’ve arrived at city palace and instantly you can tell we’re at a tourist attraction because we’ve got

Lots of uh lots of different shops outside all and we’ve got a lot we have to get a ticket interesting let’s have a look see how much it is entrance uh-oh commercial and professional photography requires require permission oh this is going to be interesting okay well let’s just instead let’s just

Really really nice and it doesn’t look hot because we got like the trees and stuff but boy it is hot all right guys so we’re going to head into the main attraction now i’ll tell you harry the historian will make a very very brief appearance because i know

Some of you like to hear the history but uh i know that most of you the majority of you don’t want to be bored to death so we’ll get out of these people’s way super grand okay sorry classic me going through the exit that’s why you get a guide guys but uh

Or somewhere like that somewhere in italy like just this this marble is just beautiful and uh yeah i love the trees and stuff it’s kind of easy to get lost in this place but there is like a fairly clear route of where to go yeah it’s like

Lots of different rooms like this like little mini pink rooms and white rooms a lot of people taking photos and you guys see like this is like pictures of what the people used to look like when they were here super interesting like the dress so cool like the weapons and the instruments they

Were playing look at this room this is it seems to be quite like a an indian thing it’s just draw all over the walls and this whole room is completely filled with drawings paintings and they’re all so so good like look how detailed this one is with the the fight the wall

And then every single layer has one even like just the the little banner like sticky outfits every layer has a completely different all the way up to the ceiling all right guys that was a awesome little trip around the city palace um so cool to see this place

One of the most like majestic and elegant places i’ve been to in india so far and it wasn’t too busy which was great one thing is i swear the doorways were so short so i wonder if the people that used to live here a long time ago were very short maybe i’m just
