  1. I must say sake is rough but if I ever planned on traveling over to Japan I'll be learning how to drink it as if I enjoyed it

  2. Just goes to show you, no matter what culture you’re in, real men take care of their moms.

  3. People are out to eat, not to be filmed eating like they are from another planet. YouTubers are into everyone face too much. Not all of us wanna be Brad pitt!

  4. i have met two japanese friends who are helpig me learn my japanese and improve it while i help them with there english so far they been very gracious and polight

  5. The gentleman n his mum are so kind and generous . Waiting for japan to open so I can visit my son there. But I think it will take some time still….

  6. Only when you are whites or East Asians, sad but true. Not if you are blacks or Southeast Asian. Honestly even Koreans and Chinese are like that. I know many Indian and Southeast Asians working there are dealing with racism 24/7. I'm sorry to comment on this under your video.

  7. I stayed in Asakusa Bashi a few times..I bought an Iaito at the shopping strip. I've done Tokyo over the years but I always love visiting. I want to go to the smaller cities like Toyama and the rest coast next time.

  8. Knowing some of the small business owners in Japan, I feel really bad for them seeing that you entering the restaurant with recording on already without asking first. One should ask before they press that "start" button, this is just basic human decency and why is it so hard for people to understand.

  9. I love saki and chicken teriyaki! And Manny movi and my small bonsai tree and my hybrid SUV that gets 35 mpg!!

  10. Should be careful how thickly you stack generalizations. "This is how "these Japanese" treat (foreign) videographers" What's the difference? Most of the population of Japan and since most of them can only see a person carrying (maybe) a camera, have no idea what's being videod. Unless the intent was to consider anyone photographing or videographing as a "youtuber" which is really just a very unfortunate 'verbification'. If you're not careful, you can quite soon be saying nothing true at all.

  11. 01:15 What's the meaning of the three digits on the sanitizer? I thought at first it would show the remaining amount, but it can't be. Temperature even less so, or is it? That would be ridiculous crazy futuristic lol, never saw something here in Germany.

  12. Japan literally copied their culture from China. When China discovered Japan, it was starving tribal nation, so Chinese taught them how to grow rice to feed themselves, how to cultivate silk for their clothing, and even how to read and write Chinese characters (Hanzi 汉字which they call Kanji), calligraphy and poetry. They learned how to use chopsticks, build Chinese architecture, how to govern themselves, how to create bonzai, etc, from China.

When China was strong, Japan copied Chinese culture, Chinese characters, chopsticks, Chinese architecture, etc. Then when the Portuguese visited Japan, Japanese borrowed Portuguese loanwords like pan (bread), sukupu (scoop/shovel), kappa (raincoat), tempura (fried veggies). Now that America is powerful, Japan started copying English words like aidoru (idol), aisu (ice-cream), anime (anime), apato (apartment), arukoru (alcohol), baiku (bike), basu (bus), biru (beer) kohi (coffee), chiketto (ticket), konpyuta (computer), doraiba (driver), erebeta (elevator), faito (fight), and so many more English words.

Its like Japan is good at copying other countries culture that's all.

Relations between ancient Japan and China have a long history, and in certain periods the exchange of political, religious and cultural practices between the two was intense. China, the much older state and the more developed, passed on to Japan (sometimes indirectly via Korea) a long list of ideas including rice cultivation, writing, Buddhism, centralised government models, civil service examinations, temple architecture, clothing, art, literature, music, and eating habits. Trade relations greatly outlasted cultural and diplomatic ties, with Japan beginning to develop its own unique cultural path from the 9th century CE onwards.

    Really in depth article.

  13. This was so refreshing and seeing the sweet side of the locals makes me want to fly there tomorrow.. this is what the world is for sharing!! Bless you all.

  14. I hate to point this out, but you were already filming (and continued before you were told by the Japanese guy) before given a permission to film in the restaurant, and other customers are clearly visible and identifiable. I think you'd better respect this.

  15. Always wanted to visit Japan but i fear i’ll starve because I don’t eat seafood 😑

  16. As long as you don't try to marry a Japanese woman and taint their bloodlines, sure, the Japanese are great. One of he great societies on the planet…just racist as hell.

  17. The usual angry gaijin running amok in the comments section. I have a message for you all. If the Japanese did not treat you well, it is probably because you don't deserve it. Maybe there are problems with you?. It is always easy to blame others for your own inadequacies.

  18. You're so lucky. I used to make YouTube videos on a different channel here in the United States and it was such a big deal to get permission from various places to record. The ironic thing is that the types of videos that I was making would have given such positive attention to the businesses, but they didn't care. I felt like trying to do 'the right thing' was more difficult and many times I just filmed without asking or in secret.
I did try my best to use blurring filters or pixelation to edit out people for privacy's sake, but even so, some people just don't feel comfortable with cameras on. My favorite part of the video is you showing the server giving out the moist hand-towels. That is such a small luxury that I wish we had in the States.
Can you please explain that '10 seconds ceremony' that occurred between the time they were served with the drinks and the waiter was about to take their order?

  19. 私はユーチーバーではない。ただユーチーブを見る地球人です。日本人は「どの国から来たの」を聞く時に、私は「地球から参りました。」/"i came from Earth. it gives something in common. WHAM! instant friends.
When Japanese ask me "What country do you come from?
I answer with "i came from Earth. it gives something in common. WHAM! instant friends. Although one did say he was an alien. but i still befriended him. ☮️
i'm not a Youtuber. i just an Earthling who likes watching YouTube. 🎶🖖

  20. 日本人はアメリカのおかげで良い生活を送っています。

The Japanese are living a good life thanks to America.

Are Japanese people grateful to America?

    日本人はアメリカに感謝していますか?

    Can you ask Japanese people?
