    they called it 成人の日 in Japan.. basically a celebration for turning 20 years of age, from a teenager turning to adulthood. my girlfriend turning 20 last year. she's included on celebration but they celebrated on the uni , last sunday .. some celebrated just recently.

    Japan Explorer can actually speak Japanese in public with Japanese people. There are people who vlog in Japan but never show themselves speaking Japanese. There are also people who claim to be language experts like the youtuber Dogen that only film edited videos that are not out in public. To me, real language ability is speaking Japanese in public with strangers, not edited videos filmed in a room.

    five reasons why japanese doesn't make good friends:

    1 they choose who is worth to hear their tatemae (truth thoughts ) and prefer to use tatemae ( lies) no matter how hard we're polite or nice
    2 they only thinks to work-work
    3 they're too serious and too positive
    4 they never wants to learn internatuional languages, and when we speak poorly japanese they mocks at us
    5 they have xenophobia

    振り袖の着物は、二十歳の女性だけのものではありません。未婚の女性であれば振袖は着れます。
    未婚女性が身に付ける衣装の中でも最も格式が高い第一礼装です。逆に二十歳であっても、既婚女性は振袖が着れません。
    大和撫子ならそれぐらいは知っててほしい。

    five reasons why the Japanese don't make good friends:
    1 they are too lazy to learn foreign languages and they laugh at our accents when we speak their language
    2 they never tell us what mistakes we would make, even though it is the only solution to improve us in front of them
    3 they judge which people deserve to hear their "honne" (true thoughts and feelings) and they lie most of the time
    4 they insult us behind the back
    5 and they are too serious
    I have enough of the weeb people saying we should share their values without knowing the harsh truth about their cold-hearted culture.
