It was my first time in Osaka and I was so excited to finally do the Osaka Itinerary I created before I left for my first Japan trip! I’ve read and watched a bunch of Osaka travel guide beforehand, and there are so many interesting things to do in Osaka. Good thing we have about 3 days to explore what Osaka has to offer!

After a quick stop in Kobe, Japan, we’re finally making our way for the first time to Osaka! Our stay at the Arima Onsen area was pretty short, hopefully we can stay for a couple nights next time we’re in Japan.

We got to have our last breakfast in Kobe before heading out to Osaka and checking in at our ryokan hotel. Let me know in the comment if you’d like me to make a video about all of the hotels I stayed at while in Japan.

Our Osaka hotel was pretty close to the dotonburi, so we decided to head out there for Kura sushi. We kinda went a little crazy here because we were so hungry. And the price per plate starts at ¥132 – and that’s about half of the price of Kura sushi here in Las Vegas.

We also got to visit the Dotomburi Museum with our Osaka ePass. It was a small museum and we got to learn all about the Dotomburi’s theater history. Tbh I only went because it’s included in our Osaka ePass..

We of course had to stroll through the dotonburi area on our first time in Osaka. We bought the Osaka ePass so we got use it for the Dotomburi Museum and one of the boat rides along the Dotonburi river/canal.

And for dinner, we went to Tsurontontan across from the river cruise meetup. This was the first time we lined up and waited for a meal in Japan. We each ordered a bowl of udon, but tbh we could have gotten 2 bowls each. The portion was pretty small, and there wasn’t enough udon LOL 😂

  1. I really dont understand how you can think that Osaka is "better" than Tokyo. But fortunately, tastes are different. Myself, I have travelled to Japan 3 times, for 4 weeks each, to many destinations. And my least favorite destination is by far Osaka. For me, its just a cheap copy of Tokyo.
