Please turn on subtitles and choose your language Skip to the part you’re interested in. Sorry if something is wrong because of auto translation I, from Hokkaido, will give you an in-depth look at the Nippon-Ham Fighters’ new home, Escon Field Hokkaido!

It was built in March 2023 and is partly opened 365 days a year, including No-Game days. Today was a Non-Gameday day, so admission was free! 35,000 people can be held in the stadium with a three-layered stand design. The cheapest seats are the light 3rd floor star level for 2,500JPY (17USD),

The highest priced ticket is the first floor field level for 12,000JPY (80USD) . The most distinctive feature of ES CON Field Hokkaido is its gabled movable roof. it’s the largest in the world. The best photo spot is this wall paint. Shohei Ohtani, who was with Nippon Ham Fighters in 2013-2017.

Yu Darvish, who was with Nippon Ham from 2005-2011. It was painted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Fighters by OVER ALLs in 10 days Located on the wall of “TOWER 11” on the 1st floor Size 5.5m (hright) x 7m (width) Gradma in front of the wall. This big.

“TOWER 11” was named in honor of Yu Darvish and Shohei Ohtani, after the special Fighters’ number “11” that both players had. Do you know another feature of the stadium? The world’s first hot spring facility inside a stadium, “tower eleven onsen @sauna” on the 4th floor of TOWER 11

Open year-round, including Non-game days, visitors can take a hot bath and use the sauna while enjoying the view of the field. Fees vary depending on whether it’s Game day or not, and whether you have overnight stay. Staff kindly explained about the place even though we just went to take a look.

Cute base shaped table. Limited sauna goods are also available. You can enjoy the game from the sauna. Photos from the official website. From hot bath as well. This is only the place in the world. Enjoy natural hot springs! Batts are used for the backrests in sauna.

A bar with beer brewed in the ballpark, light meal, and other drinks, etc. Lunch time!!! The ballpark offers numerous gourmet options, but First, “11 foodhall” by NipponHam Meatful, Meat specialty restaurant using Nippon Ham’s branded meats (beef, pork, chicken, and lamb), mainly from Hokkaido

We ordered “NIKUNO GEKIJYO( =Meat Theater) ” recommended by Manager Shinjo. HOT DOG FUN. Hot dogs made with original Chiawesen® produced by Nippon Ham and bread made from Hokkaido wheat. Simple but juicy and tasty gravy. One of the popular meal at the Stadium.

You can experience horseback riding on the second floor, which is very Hokkaido Large monitor on the wall Next is “Nanatsuboshi Yokocho(7-Star Alley)” What surprised me the most was Hachikyo The most popular menu would be Tsukkomi-meshi (Salmon Roe bowl). Tsukkomi-meshi is like this. Kawamura Dashi Cha. Rice ball shop that keeps selling out. Reasonable and a rare place to taste “Dashi” itself. Roll the laver “NORI” and get ready to eat by yourself. “Yakigai AKOYA” (Yakigai= Grilled Shellfish) Originally from Tokyo, famous for Shellfish, but

The most popular menu is Lu rou fan, Taiwan dish….lol Hokkaido is famous for its seafood ! You cannot miss hair crabs! ”Hokkaido Kani Shogun SUSHI to GO” is splendid ! Another Sushi “Tenkin” from Asahikawa! Yuko, popular ramen stores from Kyoto. Another popular Hiroshima Okonomiyaki, “Denkou-sekka.”

Beautiful omelet-style okonomiyaki with special ingredients such as sauce, dough, cabbage, etc. Beef bowl at “Yagien Ballpark”. Shiretoko Beef”, Hokkaido’s brand-name Japanese black beef is used. Machimura Nojo. You can not forget to eat milk products in Hokkaido! Deep fried croquettes at Rocomoa!

Rikyu’s beef tongue from Sendai! I love it, but personally, I’d rather choose other restaurant in Hokkaido. One of the most famous, Gindako Takoyaki! Sora To Shiba. Beer brewed at the ballpark. That’s all for the meal in the stadium. Which one you wanna try?

The days of operation depend on Game-day or not, etc., so please check the website. Let’s go outside. There is a popular bakery called Truffle Bakery. Accessibility for pushing wheelchairs and strollers Usually there is a line, but it was a weekday so wasn’t crowded! The top three most popular products are…

fresh doughnuts in 3rd place, black truffle egg sandwiches in 2nd place and white truffle salt bread in 1st place I couldn’t choose right away in the nice smell of bread butter … The restaurant in the bakery offers omelette rice and pasta meals, pudding, etc.

I ended up buying a donut for dessert! It was fluffy and delicious. The scenery of Hokkaido. Just taking a walk is great. And what’s even better is the store in F Village. To be honest,

I was surprised to see all kinds of Hokkaido souvenirs that even locals would be excited to buy! There are various kinds of produts at New Chitose Airport and around Sapporo Station, but I don’t think there is any other place that has such a large selection in one shop.

There were also plenty of products to protect you from the heat since we went there in summer. Sauna and bath products This is F village. The souvenir shop and AINZ & TULPE (cosmetics and drugstore) on 2nd floor THE NORTH FACE on 1st floor. Store-limited kids’ items were also available

Not interesting part, so you can skip to the next part if not needed. 5 notes about Es Con Field 1. Transportation on Game-day if you visit by car on game days, you need to make a reservation, and there will be traffic jam. No need to worry on No-game days.

2. If you walk from the station you walk a lot (until 2028) 40 minute walk. Shuttle bus is limited in winter. New station close to Es Con field will open in 2028. 3. Cash is not available inside the stadium

Only Credit card, Suica, Paypay, or WAON. You can make WAON (prepaid card) there. 4. No food or drink is allowed to bring on Game days You must show inside of your bag, and food and drink will be confiscated. There are some exceptions. Details on the official page.

5. you should go with less baggage On Game days, there are few lockers and the shuttle buses are very crowded. Summary Situations vary depending on the time of year and circumstances, so please check with the official in detail. I came to Sapporo Odori Park.

In summer, just sitting on a bench or taking a walk is the best. The Corn Wagon is an unknown specialty. Delicious. The Sapporo TV tower can be seen ahead I like the cute flower beds and the friendly atmosphere of the people in summer.

The atmosphere was even better with a saxophone player on this day. I think everyone was enjoying the music, though they were passing. The photo spot is across the street, not here. Let’s go down to the underground. I recommend you walking outside in Sapporo in summer,

But it’s too cold outside in winter, so we walk underground. The main stations, Sapporo, Odori, and Susukino, are all connected underground. This is Aurora Town, a underground mall used by locals. If you keep going straight, you will come to the Odori Station ticket gate. There are lockers here.

Aurora Town is 312 meter street connects Odori Nishi 4-chome and Odori Nishi 1-chome (Sapporo TV Tower) After this, I used subway with good deal ticket, so introduce it to you. When using the subway in Sapporo on weekends and holidays, the “Donichika Kippu (=Ticket)” is the best choice.

Adult fare is 520 JPY (3.48USD). The Subway costs 210 JPY for just one station, so if you ride the subway three times or use several stations twice, it’s already worth it. The ticket is like this. (The photo is taken while ago.) As a precaution, it cannot be used for JR.

TV tower, taken from the place I mentioned earlier. The word “SAPPORO” is on the flower bed. The TV tower in daytime, taken from below. Restaurant in the area where you can climb for free The TV tower at night is also brilliant!

One of three disappointing attractions in Japan, Sapporo Clock Tower. Still, there are tourists. Hand-made Rice ball shop at Le trois, near TV tower. Store from “Donguri”, a bakery loved by the locals. Famous Nikka Whisky in Susukino. The place to go at night.

Sapporo Station. It is so beautiful on a clear day. Beautiful at night as well. There is a word of ”Shime-parfait” in Sapporo. It means eating a parfait after a meal. The word didn’t exist 10 years ago, but the custom has become a word.

They also sold too cute bear Japanese waffle at the parfait store. Sapporo is famous for its Jingisukan, but more than 90% of it is produced in New Zealand. Many people may not know this and eat Jingisukan from NZ. It is also delicious, but

When you come to Sapporo, please enjoy the delicious lamb from Hokkaido. I personally consider it one of the originators of ”ShimeParfait”, a hidden gem. Pour your choice of 130 different liqueurs over soft-serve ice cream, and eat! A unique experience

Return to Tokyo from New Chitose Airport. I share a bit of the airport. I recommend you to come at least 3 hours earlier than the departure time for food and souvenirs. Soft ice cream is a must to eat.

Many stores sell soft-serve ice cream, each with a different flavor, so please find your favorite. Don’t forget to bring back memories of ramen. Personally, I’d choose Sumire…Ichigen is also my favorite I bought souvenir for my husband. Original was wooden carved bear, which is very Hokkaido.

I buy drinking yogurt, Haskap Irohasu, and Corn tea at the airport and bring on airplane every time. I always buy a lunch box from Sato Suisan. They sell Seafood lunch box. This is my favorite lunch box in Japan, with salmon and salmon roe.

Thank you for watching! I hope you liked it! I appreciate your high rating and comments!
