Hi everyone, welcome to the Travelplanify YouTube channel πŸ˜‰ Currently, we are in the Kamakura area of Tokyo In Kamakura, we are currently exploring the Dankazura i.e. the pathway to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shinto shrine. We already visited this shrine in our previous video.

So, now we will be just moving on the elevated path called Dankazura It is just present at the front of the Shinto shrine It is around a 1.8 km long path and shops, roads are there on both sides. In this path, there are three Torii gates.

During the cherry blossom season, the view is breathtaking. These streets were built in 1182 by Minamoto no Yoritomo, the first shogun of Japan He prayed for the safe delivery of his wife, Masako. Sometimes it is also referred to as Wakamiyaoji Street Enjoy the views Kamakura station is just 250m away from here.

Here, comes the third Torii gate in the front. We have reached the end of the street. On the left side, there is FamilyMart so you can buy some snacks if required. In the next video, we will be covering another spot in Tokyo.

Thanks for watching the video up to here. We will see you in the next video Please like, share, and subscribe for more upcoming videos.
