Hello we are in coochi which is in the southern island called shikoku this is the fourth place fourth stop on the nday cruise so we’re going to explore it for the first time let’s go hi my name is patina but you can call me off short frog venturer this is my first time
Going on a cruise with my family and I’m excited to share my first cruise experiences with you all so let’s eat good food go on exciting excursions and explore the Seas and new places all aboard the princess Diamond nday cruise departing from Japan good morning we have London in ki going
To start off our day it is not raining so let’s go we didn’t pay for an Excursion here as we would explore on our own we had a room issue the night before and Haruka nakahashi the night manager did a great job helping us out and also giving us free shuttle plus
Tickets to the city she was from coochi so she recommended a lot of things we ended up doing on that day our plan was to check out a famous bridge go to the food market and eat a lot of coochi Specialties and just enjoy walking
Around it was a bit of a cloudy day so it ended up raining at the end of her day Out to like this apparently in koi the oldest trams in Japan are here and you can rent them out if you want for like a little party they have like European TRS and other designs maybe we’ll ride one I’m not sure but let’s see so many different designs you
Can spot so we’re heading to the bridge and this is a famous bridge about a about a story about these Star Cross lovers like Hello Kitty is on the har mayaya Bashi which is the haraya bridge that we are going to be checking out the harimaya bridge is a setting of
A legendary Love Story between a mon and a local woman which has been immortalized in the lyrics of a local folk song called yoso Bushi very famous well-known story here they actually made a movie out of it about a starcross love lovers so there’s a monk
Who fell in love with the girl and this is the bridge that they I think they met yeah very popular spot here in koi lots of people take photos here but this is the Bridge so this is a 20 M Long Bridge it’s a 19th century monk named Jun allowed emotion to overcome his vows of a solitary life because he bought a hairpin for secret love per shop next to the bridge so that’s the story and he wasn’t allowed to fall in love was
Really close to the bus terminal and from COI station it’s just a really short walk you’ll hear me mention yosoy often in this video which refers to a unique style of dance that is performed at festivals and events throughout Japan and the first yosakoi Festival was held
In 1954 in coochi making the Kochi yosakoi Festival one of Japan’s 10 largest festivals So there’s some cherry blossoms on the other side we are going to go check them out they’ve already started falling but they kind of gather into the water which makes it look so beautiful we went to coochi around the end of cherry blossom season so the park behind hadama Bridge
Had all the Sakura pedals fallen into the water it was so beautiful it ended up raining later in the day so we really did catch the final days of the season this video series is completely and utterly not sponsored by anything or anyone so make sure to like comment and
Subscribe it really help out this deteriorating content creator just kidding no seriously please do it and on that note today’s Community comment goes to ignito thank you so much for popping into streams whenever you can and for watching and comment Ing and not to mention recommending alien to me
Also I’d like to give a special thanks to my wonderful monthly Kofi supporters Tom skaret Tyler 86 fuin King fluffy 63 omosa King dorby Omega robot 21 kamam and my neighborhood Oto thank you guys next it was time for food at hio Market so this is hio shopping street lots of
Food and you can go in and take a break and get some snacks so we got some of the fish um so we got some fish and also some sweet potatoes which I’m super excited to try so make sure to go let’s go hungry yeah me too we’re here at
Coochi HTO Food Market home to over 65 food stalls let’s eat just a short walk from coochi station and the castle it’s the perfect place to try cooch’s Food Specialties it’s nicknamed coi’s kitchen and it feels like a festival inside where you can grab a table and drink and
Eat with locals and friends now this is kataki also known as seared Bonito the sole food of coochi it is a local delicacy that is not to be missed for 10 slices this was around $20 I also wandered around the other food stalls to try other favorites
Such as fried crab graten fried oyster fried sweet potato ice cream which is a local crossover of sorban ice cream and the local hotbread which were all around 500 yen or $5 did that get you full if not we have 60 other food STS to go thanks for
Watching you guys and I’ll I’ll see you guys in the next adventure looking for the katso which is like the SE Bonito which is the most popular one so we’re going through all the stamps there’s so many options nicknamed coi’s kitchen HTO Market is the perfect place to try coochi
Specialties from over 65 stalls and restaurants kind of like a food cord but slightly more intimate with over 400 seats and shared tables of 4 to eight people make sure to grab your seat and then order your food we were on the h for kataki seared Bonito which is Bonito
Filet seared over piles of burning straw the Kat notaki was so fresh and delicious it’s no wonder Koshi is considered to have the best in the nation that means I wanted to eat more in Japanese this a crab oh crap it’s really good get different food eat in the
Market here which is really nice try the sweet potato so we got these which are a koi specialty that’s kind of like a mixture of ice cream and sorbet texture we got the I cream which is it’s like a ice cream only in koi their specialty ice cream not moo and it
Is a mixture they said the texture a texture oh gosh they said it’s like a texture of like Chet and ice cream so yeah it’s light it’s interesting this is koi Castle this is the only Castle in ja where the original castle and main tower remain in intact
So there it is on top of the hill it is pretty small compared to the ones or compared to the one that we saw in Himi but um we’re not going to go up there today we’re going to go find another very popular food item here which is the
Hot bread um but definitely when you’re in the area during CH Von season you can see that it’s a beautiful photo spot uh so yeah go check it out in COI we made it back to the one and only departing shuttle after scurrying from the bakery and in the rain and got back
To the ship on time I took a nap cuz I’m so tired and I’m going to eat dinner we get see we’re sitting by the window I feel the waves more here so it still blew my mind seeing the ocean and eating while being
On a boat The View was so cool and I couldn’t get tired of it despite it being even rockier on that part of the ship and adding to my Seas sickness they warm up the bread for you if you want it so it’s really nice and the butter was
Really good this is a popular seat so we couldn’t always get it unless we had dinner at 530 p.m. every time which in my opinion was too early this one is floating islands with vanilla sauce oh thank you see a of space let’s try this We watched a magic show in the theater after dinner and it was okay it definitely didn’t blow me away but maybe I was expecting America’s Got Talent magic performances thanks for joining me in day three of my princess crew series and I’ll see you in the next adventure

Premiere gang! <3
I didn’t realise how tall she is, made that 20m bridge look like 10. Wish I had visited here everything looked so cool
The Cherry Blossom on the water….😍 The whole area is beautiful but that scene….I'd be sketching for weeks 😍😍💖
I would be the worst person to take here. It would be me sketching for hours….sketching EVERYTHING 😂😂😂
