Last port for my Diamond Princess Spring Flowers Cruise in April 2018 was Akita (famous for the dogs).
On the Highlights of Akita shore excursion, we went to the City Folklore Museum, which is housed in a former bank; a local market; and a sake brewery, which included samples.
Along the way, we say city sights including the recently bloomed Cherry Blossoms, as Akita is the most northern port we went to.
