Hey welcome back on Day 3 we will find out whether it’s worth visiting the famous Shirogane Blue Pond Furano and Asahikawa in the summer we brought our luggages with us and headed North East towards Asahikawa where our next hotel is located then south to all the other attractions

Subscribe and turn on the notification bell to follow my full itinerary for the entire north of Japan from day 1 to day 16 Asahikawa Station is one of our favourite train stations in Japan with its modern wood and natural coloured design and convenience we bought an egg sando onigiri or rice balls

MOS fish burger and strawberry cheesecake to eat along the way to Biei we walk around Town Biei soaking in all the amazing views check out a steam train before taking the bus to the main attraction the famous Shirogane blue pond the man-made pond is legit no filter needed for this serene spot

There is a famous Shirahige waterfall nearby if you want to check that out we however we however prioritize the food at Cafe Junpei over the watefall and boy the vibe and of course the ebikatsu or prawn cutlet is out of this world 10 out of 10 for sure

We didn’t visit the famous Farm Tomita because the flowers are not in full bloom best to visit in the middle of the summer after that we took the train to Furano for Kumagera renowned for it’s regional nabe or stew and raw Wagyu Donburi both are very delicious

Next we did some window shopping and brought some more desserts at Furano Marche after a long day we relaxed at the public bath at our hotel Amanek Asahikawa check out our full video of this hotel with the best buffet breakfast available at a price you won’t believe

Mark this next 10 out of 10 dinner spot Jingisukan Daikokuya I repeat Jingisukan Daikokuya this is a must in Asahikawa because the grilled lamb here is a meal worth dying for it may not look so in the video but the quality and the atmosphere here are just amazing

We just can’t stop eating here funny story we asked where they sourced the most amazing lamb in Japan they asked around and told us that the lamb is from Osi took us a few seconds to realise it’s actually from where we are from in Aussie Australia oh my god too funny

Everyone had a good laugh I told them even if we don’t get lamb of such quality in Australia such a great day 3 see you tomorrow on day 4
