Hello everyone, and welcome to Fuji Japan Travel. How are you all doing today? I’m usually your guide to Tokyo’s finest restaurants, but in this video, we’re going to explore beyond Tokyo and dive into the beauty of other fantastic places in Japan. From the historic streets of Kyoto to the serene landscapes of Hakone.

I’ll be introducing five must visit destinations that are hugely popular with tourists. So without further ado, let’s head to our first spot. Welcome to a slice of Tokyo’s urban charm. Just a minutes walk from Shingo Kitagawa station nestled within Mike in a vibrant complex borne

From the historic embankments of the Cayo and Akasha line lies a world where work and play blend seamlessly. Mike And comprising five distinct blocks, symbolizes a fusion of genres and values, mirroring the eclectic spirit of Shamil Kitagawa. Here, the unexpected becomes the norm and a

Tapestry of diverse people and experiences weaves itself together. As you step into the heart of this bustling area, you’ll find more than just a traditional izakaya from the popular bookstore city to an array of tantalizing Thai restaurants. There’s something for every taste and mood.

My visit at around PM on a weekday revealed a lively, yet cozy atmosphere with a few groups already enjoying the ambiance. While walk ins are overshadowed by its more famous neighbor, Naka me, Goro exudes a quiet charm, distinctly different from the usual tourist spots.

All right, I’m just a hop away from you Tengah station. This area, often overshadowed by its more famous neighbor, Nakamura Goro, exudes a quiet charm to directly different from the usual tourist spots. Our destination is a unique spot on the second floor of a building near you Tongji Station.

It’s a bit of a hidden treasure, almost like a secret base which has been buzzing on Instagram lately. This place, popular among young women in their twenties, often sees groups enjoying the cozy ambiance. Inside the restaurant is a haven of antique elegance with a kitchen surrounded by a wraparound counter.

This layout makes it surprisingly welcoming for solo diners like myself. The menu here is a delightful puzzle, constantly changing every two weeks. It’s always brimming with choices. Their signature dishes, along with the recommended options like Oden, make deciding what to eat a fun challenge. Adding to the charm

Is the unique system where you can choose from three different types of appetizers. I went for the warm newman, a perfect comfort dish for cold days. The fried spring rolls served piping hot by the staff are a must try. Wrapped in a crispy shell, they’re filled with crunchy yam and melted cheese.

A hit among the ladies for sure. The Oden selection isn’t just the usual radish and cognac. They also offer unique items like seaweed, mozzarella and premium yellowtail. I paired these with a dry sack named Izumi, recommended specifically for Oden among the restaurant’s three specialties chicken sashimi, grilled young chicken and grilled egg.

I chose the chicken sashimi. It’s available, but I went for the regular size, which was surprisingly manageable for one visually striking. The dishes here are not only Instagram worthy, but also offer great value for their generous portions. For those looking to enjoy with friends, they also offer an all

You can drink course, making it an ideal spot for group gatherings. Hey there, fellow travelers. Welcome to our virtual journey through Kyoto, a city where tradition meets modernity in the most fascinating ways. Let’s start with the best restaurant in Kyoto. The name of the restaurant is Gion Shirakawa Nam Asado,

Tucked away in a narrow alley between buildings. As you can see, just 2 to 3 minutes from Jian Shiho Station. This cafe exudes a secret hideaway charm. I think if you didn’t know the restaurant, you must have missed out. Famous for the Gion Festival held

Annually finding it feels like discovering an exclusive retreat. As I enter, the spacious interior greets you with counter seats neatly lined up. Open for lunch from noon till 2:30 p.m. and dinner from PM to 10:30 p.m.. It is better to make a call before heading in.

You can find more details on their website. Located by the bright and beautiful share Cala River, you can relish Kyoto’s traditional Kaiseki cuisine in Japanese sake, whether sitting by the riverside or at the counter watching the chefs at work. Every seat offers a splendid

Setting with a high open ceiling, creating a breezy ambiance. I was lucky to have the place all to myself. The upstairs seating also offers stunning views and the table seats. There are just as enchanting this time. I ordered the eight course lunch for ¥5,500. Served with a playful sense of season.

Remember lunches, cash only the dishes, beautiful as an open treasure chest included a dessert evoking hydrangeas, refreshing and memorable. In the evening, they boast around 20 types of exquisite drinks, including sake from Kyoto and other regions, wine and shochu. Furthermore, there is an awesome concept in Jian share Kahlua nam asado.

While traditional Kyoto cuisine might seem a bit intimidating. Jian Shirakawa Namma Sato aims to be a Kyoto food spot that everyone can easily enjoy. To be honest, I felt a little bit nervous to walk in this place. On the other hand, there are also welcoming first time visitors such as me and you.

There is no reason to visit here. It harnesses the ancient esthetic of the city and the magnificent location of Gion, welcoming all even first time visitors. Here we are seeing in Jaya a lively station, just two stops from Shibuya on the Tokyu, Dan and Toshi line.

Known for its youthful vibe, Singh and Jaya is a favorite among working professionals in their twenties and 30 seconds. Thanks to its convenient access to shabu is bustling. I’d venture seeing a quick 15 minute bike ride along Chapala Street, north of the station, will also take you to Shimmer

Guitars, who a famous for its vintage clothing stores and vibrant street life. Not to mention it’s a curry lover’s paradise, boasting over 100 curry shops and an annual Curry festival. Our highlight for today is a quaint Kyushu Izakaya, a mere five minute walk

From the station where you can indulge in authentic Kyushu cuisine. When I visited around p m on a Friday, the Izakaya, with its cozy and slightly compact space, seemed perfect for an intimate dining experience. Mainly accommodating about six groups at a time. It operates on a strict two hour seating schedule,

Making it ideal for early evening gatherings or first round drinks. The clientele mainly consists of local office workers in their twenties and 30 seconds, along with regulars from the Singh and area. The Interior has a nostalgic feel reminiscent of an old Japanese house,

Complete with sunken coat tops of seating table seats and a counter. A word of caution The catharsis seats might feel a bit snug for a group of four men. As a Kyushu izakaya, it’s a haven for those craving dishes like monsoon beef, offal, hotpot and horse sashimi.

Ever wonder why Keo Misa Dara or Kumu Zu Temple is such a famous spot for tourists in Kyoto? Let’s dive into this iconic temple’s story. First off, it’s not just about the stunning architecture. It’s the rich history and cultural significance that draws more than five millions of visitors each year.

Yes, you heard it right. Five millions. So how do you get to this must visit site? From Kyoto Station. Just hop on a bus and you’ll be there in no time, ready to explore. And when’s the best time to visit? Well, kill Misa.

Dara is a year round beauty, but it’s especially popular during cherry blossom season in spring. And when the autumn leaves are in full glory. Simply because the temples breathtaking view becomes even more magical with those seasonal backdrops. Qiao Misa Dara is waiting to amaze you with its timeless charm.

We’re just an eight minute walk away from Shibuya station at a buzzing Italian bar that has become the talk of the it off the beaten path, making it a favorite among regulars who seek a lively, yet intimate dining experience. This place is always like a festival with high energy

Staff, setting the tone for an upbeat evening, an interaction where you can do a theme or with the staff for a ¥100 discount on certain drinks. Talk about an icebreaker. Despite its popularity, I had to try it for myself, so I booked

A table for PM on a weekday and by PM the counter seats were already full. The bar’s concept revolves around natural wines and an array of original sours paired with Italian dishes that change. Monthly Old lobster and wood fired Napoli pizza are a must try featuring seasonal Japanese classic Italian preparations.

The clientele was mostly groups of women in their twenties. Seated at the counter, the male staff were not only great at explaining the dishes, the conversation lively, making it a comfortable spot even for smaller groups. Our order included white peach and burrata cheese for ¥1,580. Khadra and Cujo Green, Onion Angelo for ¥780,

Reggiano and truffle pizza and Godiva tiramisu for ¥700. The white peach and burrata cheese was an absolute delight with the Caesar. No fruit. Perfectly complementing the cheese. The pizza available as half and half upon request, included a classic Reggiano with a hint of spicy sesame and Halla Pino and a unique truffle

And egg combination that was quite a hit, especially among the ladies. The Angelo perfect with a slice of French bread was a great accompaniment for drinks with the salty flavor and crisp texture of the green onions and the Godiva tiramisu. It was actually shaved Godiva ice cream on top, adding a live

Cooking flair to the dessert. Overall, this place is ideal for a girls night out or anyone looking to enjoy a vibrant and trendy dining experience in Shibuya. So if you’re in Tokyo and craving Italian with a twist, this is the spot to be. We find ourselves in the charming neighborhood of Ngoc

Ami Goro, just a stone’s throw away from the well, well-known May Girl River Nakamura Girl adjacent to the previously mentioned Utensil station is especially bustling on weekends. The area is famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms and fireworks along the river with cozy cafes and the popular Starbucks reserve

Roastery attracting long lines of coffee lovers, particularly on weekends. Strolling along the river with a cup, blossoms are in full bloom. Now let’s talk about the izakaya we’re featuring today. This place is a hit among the younger crowd. With about 80% of the clientele being women, it’s common to see couples,

But it’s mainly groups of women who frequent this spot. The interior design and menu seem tailored to appeal more to women with a vibe that’s more akin to a cafe than a traditional izakaya. It’s perfect for those who usually shy away from regular drinking spots,

But are looking for a casual place to enjoy a drink. The counter doesn’t resemble your typical izakaya set up, but rather exudes the elegance of a cafe bar. The interior, dominated by white tones and tables set to enhance the visual appeal of your meals is designed to be Instagram worthy.

Whether it’s the private tables or the communal long tables, the setup strays from the usual izakaya. For those interested in creative cuisine and unique drinks, this neo izakaya offers an exciting options and others resembling matcha lattes. The food menu, while relatively simple, includes classic izakaya dishes like sushi

And chicken meatballs, Toro tacos, fatty tuna with pickled seaweed wrapped fried items. However, keep in mind that while the portions are modest, you might end up spending a bit more if you’re looking for a hearty meal. So if you’re in Tokyo and looking for a meal

Outing with friends or a relaxed evening out again, we are at Gochujang Goku introducing an izakaya that’s all about celebrating the wonders of tuna known as a tuna specialty shop. It offers an intriguing dish you might not have tried before. To New York and Haiku. Seafood lovers prepare to be enthralled.

The heart of this izakaya is philosophy is the revival of fish eating culture. Their mission to contribute to the health of Japanese people and to boost the declining fishing industry by increasing the population of fish eaters. This place is not just an eatery. It’s a movement offering exciting experiences centered around tuna.

Join us on this journey which started in months in Nakano and feel the thrill of their challenge. The clientele is diverse from couples in their forties and 50 seconds to younger university students. Despite its neo classification, the atmosphere is comfortable for all ages, not leaning too young or too mature.

My visit on a weekday right after opening felt like being the first to discover a secret. The early hours are quiet, with only a few other groups making it a perfect spot for a quick drink. As expected from an izakaya, it the final highlight of our Tokyo Izakaya adventure.

This time I’m taking you to a special spot that’s not just close to a station, but in Shinjuku, a bustling area famous for its massive station. Did you know that Shinjuku station has the highest number of daily passengers in the world with about 2.59 million people

And with 53% of the foreign visitors in Tokyo flocking to Shinjuku, it surpasses even Shibuya with over 5000 eateries and excellent connectivity from both Anada and Narita Airport. Shinjuku is a foodie’s paradise. The Izakaya. I’m about to introduce. Next up, let’s check out the room I’ll be staying in during this trip.

Let’s head to the room. I’ll be staying in at the Nikko Nishi Maki Club. Arturo. This hotel offers rooms both in the main building and in a separate annex. And this time I’ll be staying in the annex. One delightful surprise

On the way to the room is a hallway freezer stocked with ice cream. And, yes, it’s all free for guests. You can indulge as much as you want. And it’s Haagen-Dazs, no less. These unexpected luxuries really add excitement to the stay. The hotel has nine suites in total, each uniquely designed,

Offering a luxurious feel in both the main building and the annex crossing the courtyard to the annex. My room was situated at the very end, opening the door. I was greeted by a spacious high ceiling private haven. There’s a large comfortable bed area and a separate,

Relaxing area with a sofa and TV all in a chic wood themed décor. That’s incredibly cozy. The walls incorporate with Stone a unique stone material from the Gigi Prefecture, celebrating local craftsmanship. The large glass windows reaching up to the high ceiling offer views of the forest, allowing for an indoor forest bathing experience.

What struck me most was the tranquility, despite being close to Nico’s main streets. The suite offered complete serenity with no hint of neighbors, the epitome of a private space. The room is equipped with a variety of snacks, a coffee maker and tea, providing an overwhelming array of choices for any craving.

Plus, the fridge is filled with complimentary drinks, including alcohol and juice. A rare and generous offering. The bathroom at the back is spacious, with a luxurious stonework design and a view of the courtyard. Opening the window transforms it into an open air bath experience.

Additionally, the hotel offers an exclusive hot spring bath for guests, making it a truly indulgent stay. With so many services to enjoy, I recommend an early check in to make the most of your stay. Let’s explore more of this luxurious seat and its amenities. Now let’s take a brief break from the hotel

And head out for a much needed café. Lay my personal life. Savor The cafe we’re visiting seems to have taken its name from the street. It’s on this place. A renovated old merchant house sits seamlessly into this historic and tranquil area. What strikes me first is its full glass

Exterior, a fresh twist on the traditional wooden structure. It’s charming, to say the least. The lattice like window designs and the elegant black sign reading Niko Coffee perfectly complement the overall esthetic. There’s a sense of grandeur here, a building steeped in history. The variety of table sizes and the spacious interior surpassed

The exteriors promise. The deep wood tones and high ceilings give the caffe an expansive, yet serene feel ideal for a moment of relaxation during a busy trip. For those who love to experience the historical aspects of a destination, including its age old buildings and specialties, this caffe is a must visit.

It blends beautifully with the streetscape, creating a picturesque spot that you’d want to capture in photos. Back to the hotel. And I’m going to have dinner. Dinner Here is a celebration of Tag’s finest ingredients, opting for a wine pairing. I indulged in a course meal that beautifully showcased local flavors.

Choosing between different meal plans is a luxury, especially in a tourist spot, where finding the all inclusive dining experience at this hotel provides the perfect blend of convenience and indulgence, allowing you to enjoy your meal and then retire to your room. Let me take you through the dinner menu.

It started with an amuse bouche, followed by a series of appetizers, soups and main courses of both fish and meat concluding with a delectable dessert. Each dish, voluminous and visually stunning, was crafted from the finest local produce like Nico, vegetables and TTG Wagyu. The standout dishes included seared horse mackerel

And squid, abalone and beef honeycomb and a mushroom and parsley butter sauce and a gigi Wagyu fillet steak, all paired exquisitely with wines. The staff’s attentive service, explaining each dish in detail added to the dining experience, making it not just a meal, but a journey through to Teague’s culinary landscape.

The abalone and Harkness. A dish, for instance, was a revelation in taste and texture, perfectly capturing the essence of oh two. And let’s not forget that’s a CG wagyu fillet steak. It’s tenderness and flavor were incomparable, and the grilled seasonal vegetables were the perfect accompaniment. Such an exquisite dining experience,

Complemented by the seamless service and the cozy ambiance of the hotel, ensures that no guest leaves anything but satisfied. To conclude, the dessert was as delightful as the rest of the meal, particularly the sunflower inspired Macaron, which was too cute but too delicious to resist. In there you can enjoy

Some drinks such as authentic espresso extracted by La Marzo. Go hand your coffee made on order, homemade chai and lemonade. Hot dogs and oven sandwiches are available for breakfast. Also, you can enjoy hand, drip coffee or organic juice as set drinks at lunchtime.

You can eat homemade spare rib plates, roast beef curry, etc. Sweets include ice cream, cheesecake, tyranny and tiramisu as you thought. You can enjoy anything from foods to sweets. Why don’t you go there? If you come to Hakone. You must try a Japanese hot spring.

I will take you to the best as ever. I tried the hot spring ragout garden honkin for access. There is a free shuttle service for Mature Station or Moto Hakone. General admission is ¥2,200 for adults. ¥1,200 for elementary school students and ¥600 for infants.

A hot spring erupted on the north side of the Kumagai. Take ropeway. The hot spring was named Moto Hakone onsen along with Lake Ash Hanako onsen. After that the hot spring became the 17th hot spring and is known as one of the famous hot springs in Hakone.

It is characterized by the dynamic scenery viewing that makes tourists feel one with the nature of the majestic lake. Also, it is known as the location where you can see Mt. Fuji. Now I am going to take you to another hot spring spot for Kono.

Hakone, near you, is a hot spring, which is the style of an old private house. There is a large scale public baths, open air baths, pop baths and 19 private open air baths, which is the largest one around the Tokyo metropolitan area. You can also enjoy authentic meals

Such as delicious fish dishes and hearth dishes and relax. You can go there easily. There is a free shuttle bus from Hakone Yamamoto Station and just a 3 minutes walk from there. Busses run every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes on weekends,

So you can easily get around without getting tired of waiting. The hot spring fares ¥1,600 for an adult on weekdays and ¥1,900 for weekends. You can enjoy sumptuous Japanese dishes such as tempura, rice bowls and sea bream, shabu shabu, as well as charcoal grilled fish and skewers of domestic chicken.

There are hidden places around Tokyo. If you have any thought, please give me a comments.
