Koikawasuji is a main road in Kobe City’s Chuo Ward, connecting the Sannomiya and Motomachi districts. The name of Koikawasuji comes from a small stream called Koikawa that used to flow under this road. Koikawasuji is a place that connects Kobe’s symbolic areas and invites visitors to move east and west and to the waterfront, playing an important role in Kobe’s urban development. Koikawasuji has many tourist attractions and recommended shops, such as the Kobe City Museum, Kobe Harborland, Nankinmachi, and Kobe Beef Specialty Store Miyabi.
