Guys we are at the international or InterContinental Yokohama Grand Hotel this is the probably the most famous hotel in all of Yokohama and if you think of Yokohama probably have seen this hotel it’s kind of shaped like a giant uh shark fin or whale fin or something and um so so you’ve definitely

Seen it before but that’s where we are right now and I mean check out the view behind me let me let me let me just uh see if I can flip this around just a little bit and uh and show you the the the view we’ve got here look at this

View I tell you what man U we’re right here we’ve got the cosmo clock um uh Ferris wheel behind do you can see my my ugly reflection in here but this is absolutely gorgeous and uh just an amazing view you got the uh the the the

Yokohama naval ship over here off in the distance so I mean it’s this is a really this is a gorgeous place so anyway welcome we are we’re here in Yokohama because uh we’re getting I’m going to get ready to shoot a video in Hana at Hana airport tomorrow and the

Getting your your pasmo uh your your currency exchange your your cell phone all that stuff squared away and stuff I’m going to be making a new video starting tomorrow with that because a lot has changed changed and uh so I’m I’m I just uh I live in I live I live in

Kanagawa so I just wanted to take a night out so we came up here to Yokohama I say we’ve got this beautiful view behind us and we’re going to shoot some video tomorrow at Hana so if there’s anything you guys want to see is in that

Yokohama it’s my opinion and in the title in my opinion Yokohama is better than Tokyo I just love the vibe of Yokohama at night I love the Jazz Vibe the the craft beer scene it’s just got a much more relaxed vibe to it and um just

I love to just to chill out here and relax and take time and just just walk around around um we’re not very far from the sakurao train station I see if I can probably show you I I mean I can just show you right here from from where I’m

At let’s see if I can get this here come on there we go yeah Sago train station is just right over there and uh it’s not a very far walk to to the hotel from here uh but if if you’re coming to oklahama that’s the

Train station you want to get off at is get a a go to sakurao it’s a Jr station um and uh there’s just so much within walking distance of this place you know you’ve got the U um like I say you’ve got the the beautiful ship off over here to the to the

Left I got my bright lights on in here it’s hard to see I should probably kill the lights to get the get the get the view hold on a second let me just do that for you because you know we’re going to take care of you guys kill some

Of these lights so we can can actually not have so much reflection looking outside all righty sorry about that there we go now we can see just a little bit better but yeah this is Yokohama I mean is that an amazing view uh yoka yes s uh Sophia yes absolutely I love

Yokohama and it’s just some one of the best places it’s just such a great Vibe like I said it’s so relaxed and I mean man can you beat this view I don’t think you can but uh yeah we’re looking right out here uh we’ve got the we’ve got the

Little amusement park over here the cosmo Museum or the cosmo Museum the cosmo amusement park and uh just so much to do so much within walking distance over here we’ve got the Red Brick Warehouse course you can’t really see that it’s reded tonight where is it

Right over here with the uh the lights right off on the Harbor just so much and right along right along here there’s so much a great place to walk and off in the distance they’ve got the Gundam uh the the giant big giant whatever probably 100 foot tall Gundam

Way down there um and you can see the the Marine Tower I see I’ll put it right here in the right hand side of the screen the Marine Tower but at the uh the Gundam is right near there I probably probably impossible to see that right now

See if I can get in there I think the bright lights right there in the middle of the screen is the Gundam but it’s not far but there’s just so much to see within walking distance of here and uh the the hotel that we’ve got

Here is is great again it is we’re at the uh the Intercontinental oklahama Grand tonight just such a it’s a perfect place just so much to see so much to do a great absolutely great Vibe here let me even just show you the room that we’re in right now so let’s see yeah

Take a take a quick look I’ve got all the lights off on me so you can see outside let’s turn let’s turn on some of the lights in here and you can just check out this room and let’s get out get some of the lights on yeah this is such a such an

Amazing room we are this is a this is a very western style room and uh just a a perfect room and uh yeah we’ve got we got a nice little nice little bar with uh Gourmet Coffee the whole thing plac a place to have uh coffee in the morning um a full stocked

Fridge down here below so and uh but it’s a very Western hotel and uh so this I think they also have some Japanese style rooms so if you haven’t uh so yeah if you’re interested in checking it out come check out the uh the Intercontinental Oklahom Grand but yeah really nice

Room and again views like this just can’t be beat I right here on the uh at the edge of the window there’s just a seating area with cushions and everything you can just sit back here have your have a couple of drinks and just sit back here and and enjoy the

Absolutely gorgeous view but anyway so uh the main reason I’m doing this video tonight is just basically to let you guys guys know that uh tomorrow I know I’m a little bit dark um let’s fix that not that uh I’m so super handsome that you got to see me but let’s

Uh get a little bit more light here so that it’s not awkward anyway so yeah tomorrow we’re going to be heading to Hana airport and uh going to be shooting some new video in regards to the um the the pass mode there’s there’s a new system they’ve had a shortage for

The IC chips for a while so they haven’t been issuing the pasmo and the sua cards and there’s a whole new way to get to get them so what I’m going to do is I’m going to do do an updated video on how to get the the pmon sua cards I’m going

To I’m going to give you some new information about translation apps and different things that I I prefer and just different apps for getting around in in Japan Al together so different ways that are better and I really started using those more than the ones that I recommended my previous video I

Mean everything is still mostly accurate in the previous video but in the the the one I’m going to start editing and creating tomorrow is going to be just a little bit more relevant for 2024 um so that that’s kind of the plan for tomorrow so I’m going to start

For uh for things that you want to see as far as information you want you want as far as getting to Japan and that sort of stuff but that’s the biggest reason I’m writing um or writing uh doing this video today um so just uh the some of the

Latest things that are happening in Japan and everything is uh a lot of you guys are familiar with good old John Somali I even I hate to even men mention this guy’s name because he was such a torp and he did so much stuff um he’s finally been sentenced he’s been uh

Banned from Japan as far as I understand he’s been banned from Japan he was he was spent three months in jail and uh was fined uh the equivalent of about $2,000 um I’ve got my opinions on um the the level of that sentence um some of

You may think you know hey that was justice has been served some of you may think that it was too easy uh let me know what you guys think in the comments as far as as good old Johnny Somali and after all the Havoc that he reaped here

And stuff um but yeah he I believe he is no longer in Japan and will likely never step foot in this country again after the the Havoc that he wre here for for a few months um of course we had the Japan earthquake uh just recently on January

1st in uh Isaak uh ich Chago prefecture um Bad scene and um my heart goes out to these people keep them please keep those folks in your prayers um yeah I I I’m not exactly sure on the number of deaths but the the the number of deaths and

Those that are missing continues to rise and I don’t know what the uh the the Western media uh media is reporting but uh I’ve heard numbers of upwards of 200 200 people that are missing and and or uh uh confirmed confirmed dead so the earthquakes that are here in Japan are no joke

And you just never know where when and where it’s going to happen but uh it’s uh yeah it’s something that could always happen um other thing just again I can’t say enough about Yokohama I love love this place the the vibe here is just really just energetic I just the night life is

Just I don’t know I just find it it I just find it so cool because like the the Jazz life uh in the uh the craft beer there’s just so much that’s going on here just and and so much is within walking distance and so many people they

Come to Japan and they’re like I don’t know I’ve got this I’ve got this itinerary I’m going to do this this and this and at 10:00 I’m going to be here and 12:00 I’m going to be there and 2 o’clock I’m going to be at another place my recomend right my recommendation is

Don’t don’t do that walk out the door you know have an idea of what you’d like to see and then just go go do it just walk out and then just take what Japan puts in front of you at the moment because it’s all it’s all amazing and

Everybody is just so welcoming as long as you’re respectful everybody’s going to be just so welcoming so grab a beer grab a go go check out some jazz especially in Yokohama and just and enjoy and enjoy the area there’s just so much here real close to this area the

Couple cup of noodles museum is not too far uh Chinatown everything’s just all within walking distance um again I like it I like it better than Tokyo I I Tokyo is so spread out and so diverse and for you to to to take it all in is

Going to be nearly impossible so people try to come to Japan and they want to uh pack as I said before I I I like to say they want to pack 10 pounds of potatoes into a 5 pound sack they want to take three weeks of vacation and pack it into

One week don’t do that don’t you’re going to burn yourself out and you’re going to go home exhausted um just just take Japan as it comes to you um I’ve been here for three and a half years and I can’t even be in it say I’ve scratched

The surface and all the the cool fun things that there are to do here um just just uh take what comes comes and what’s put in front of you and then um and then from there just say hey if you don’t do it always I got to come back and you

Know it’ll be here it’ll be here barring at crazy Earth Quake or barring uh fujisan it blows a stack so anyway but yeah this is a Yokohama it’s a such an amazing view such a a great place and uh really the the the room we’re in is not

That terribly expensive especially by by Western standards it’s not expensive at all um so yeah you get a really nice room for a for a really decent price I don’t see any comments coming in I haven’t seen anything any questions or anything that you guys want to uh want
