Looking for the perfect day trip from Tokyo? Take the train with us from Tokyo to Kamakura (鎌倉) on Day 7 of our Tokyo Travel Guide!

Just an hour south of Tokyo, Kamakura is a beautiful seaside town known for its beaches, surfer culture, temple sightseeing, and artisanal shopping. Walk through Kamakura’s best shopping street, the Komachi-dori Street, as we try Japanese street food, a trio of locally made sausages, and the biggest shirasu whitefish bento.

Zigzag through the back alleys on this Kamakura vlog to find hidden gems, things to do, and meet the friendliest locals and artists (lil spiders included).

Breathe that coastal air. Sip that matcha. Chew that mochi.

We end the day with a special sunset view at the Slam Dunk Site Railway Crossing, just a few scenic local stations away from Kamakura Station.

Come on up, Kamakura! Bring your film cameras. It’s a day trip to remember.

Stay tuned for the rest of our 7 Days in Tokyo!

  1. Kamakura is the ancient capital of Japan, where samurai ruled from the 12th to the 14th century.♥️

  2. Thank you very much for sharing Japan😊I never been to Kamakura but planning to visit this spring.
For Japanese, convenience meal is not special stuff your video makes me want to eat and purchase a lot😂

  3. I’m definitely visiting that shop owner. So friendly.

As always ….. great journey with you guys ❤❤

By the way , do you guys speak Japanese? Is it easy to visit Japan with zero Japanese?

  4. I really enjoy the style and relaxed vibes of your videos. You two really take the time to ensure quality video shots and edits and I really appreciate that.

  5. I must hunt down that Beams store in Shinjuku station on my next trip! I've an unhealthy obsession with them I confess and thanks again for those beautiful scenic views of Kamakura!

  6. It is one of my bucket list visiting here too. ❤ may I know how much price ranging to for a return ticket? Or is it better to get day pass from Tokyo?

  7. Your videos make me feel I am with you throughout the whole time. The background music makes it like more for the soundtrack of the video. Ralph and Sam love the way you create videos from Bangkok vids until Japan vids makes me want to return to these places. Soon… soon… Thanks to your inspiring insights and vlog creations.

I told my brother that your channel is one recommendation I can truly say "di ako mapapahiya" More power and may the force be with you!
