I took Taiheiyo Ferry from Nagoya to Hokkaido Japan. I booked Semi Suite of Kiso this time.

  1. This suite was wonderful and reminded me of a stateroom on a cruise ship. I like the sofa and hope to have one in our home someday. Thank you!

  2. The couch is weird? How about that spooky, creepy background sound and the fact that there is no one (less than a few people) on board. This seems like a ghost ship, even the depart music is ghostly. Are you sure the voices we hear are ghosts? 👻👻👹👹

  3. this is second video i have seen by this guy both times he seems uneducated and dim. Everything seems weird to him. Perhaps travel blog is not this guys way in life. Should leave to the women in Japan, they are apparently much brighter and wiser.

  4. always gives me anxiety everytime you open a room and it's dark then you proceed to enter and close the door behind you without turning the lights on first. gives me the creeps 😆

  5. There's nothing to be confused about with the couch. It's a chaise longue, a day bed or day couch, you can relax on it not the bed. IT'S EUROPEAN!!

  6. Canadian traveller here. Love Japan. I do not understand why you never speak and why no other people are ever shown. I absolutely know Japan to be a very social country; so please explain. Also? On the boats? Why do none of you ever go on deck? Were it I, you could not get me off the boat deack. Sailingis incredible. I prefer that to caring about vending machines.

  7. Um I’m confused why you’re confused by furniture besides a bed in a suite? This is very common for any hotel-like situation. Also – wayyyy too many ads on this particular video.

  8. That was a nice trip. I'd take this trip and suite if I got the opportunity. Thanks for sharing!

  9. Yes, that poor tofu did look frightened. Maybe it didn't want to get eaten but just enjoy the journey. haha

I love how you said you'd eaten too much and were just going to have dessert, but then ended up having more jambalaya (one of my favourites, despite not being able to tolerate spicy food too much) and soup. haha

I love how the plates have a spot for separate items so that the food doesn't all touch. I prefer my food to not touch if it's different kinds of things that don't really go together, although some meals are fine all touching.

It seems like a great trip, and something I want to do if I ever get across the Pacific Ocean to visit Japan.

What did it feel like, sailing past Fukushima? That must've been sobering, even from a distance.

  10. another great video, editing, and overall vibe. We are all traveling with you solo. Keep up the great work of showing us Japan!

  11. was this before the tsunami in fukushima ? It looked like it was operational. The tv had me laughing but the view is amazing. Safe journey my friend.

  12. Ok well at least on this trip its 40 hours and includes 5 meals and the room all in one price.. It's better than the other trip where you got a suite for a 2 HR and 45 minute ride. But the ship on this trip left at 7pm and the buffet closes at 8 pm???, and they rushed you thru your dinner? What time did the buffet start?? It must have started while you were still at the dock??

  13. Eerie music on departure, but i have to remember it's a different culture It may be classical music but just seemed odd to me.. I love your videos by the way keep up the great content.

  14. Please, next time you are going through the Buffet Restaurant, could you keep filming? That of course, if it is allowed.
I think it would be good to see the range of selections.
