Fukuoka was our last stop in Japan and in this video we discuss our time there but more importantly we reflect on our time in Japan. Fukuoka was our shortest visit of any city in Japan as we left to South Korea early the next morning. We visited one of Fukuoka’s beautiful beaches and enjoyed some food but ran out of time quickly. It truly seemed like an amazing city and we hope to get the opportunity to spend an extended time there at some point in our lives.
Our family tour through Japan ended in a flash and at the time we didn’t know how impactful Japan was on all of us until we were gone. To this day we reflect on our time, experiences and the wonderful culture of Japan regularly, and I don’t think that will ever change. Japan is a country filled with great lessons for humanity and hopefully other visitors are impacted the way our family was.

Peanut butter crustless sandwich but the crust is the best part but there’s a little peanut butter on it it’s a little peanut there’s no way anyone would argue the crust is the best part though yeah I like the crust is the best part of the bread but you like the sandwiches
That’s why I’m the only one who ever eats the end pie so from Rosa um we’re on to our final leg of Japan which brought us down to Fukuoka which we were heading out uh on the queen Beetle ferry to South Korea so fukoka is our our last destination
This is our last video in Japan um we didn’t leave ourselves much time to check out fukoka we were kind of learning about it as we were going and and regret that we didn’t have a few days it’s supposed to be an absolutely amazing City
We had was from friend who was there in a we were Trav there in sep and he said that we need to check out the beaches so um thought we’d do something a little different thought we’ do something different hopped in a cab went to the
Went to the beach just to find out that the beach is closed in September beginning of September so 35° 35 degrees out almost the whole time we were in Japan and the beaches and pools are all closed so kind of funky to us little heads up something to check into and
Think of when you’re going so yeah even if it’s hot can’t go in the water um also jellyfish and there’s no lifeguard so that’s why you couldn’t go in so we ended up going there and the boys just kind of played a little in the surf and
Got a little Sun play for a little bit but yeah it was uh you know it seemed like another beautiful clean City in Japan um you know I don’t know we we didn’t expect the impact that Japan would have or the lasting impact now the longer we’re gone the more we wish we
Were back there uh the more we wish we we did it a little differently we’re still watching documentaries and still reading and still learning about Japanese culture um just can’t believe how right they’re doing it uh as far as cleanliness continue to do it politeness um respect yeah and respect for for each
Other for fellow men really you don’t we we all live in such tough times this isn’t an easy time right now everybody knows that but it’s not hard to look out for your fellow human being we’re all human beings we’re all in this together we’re all going
Through struggles it’s not hard to be kind it’s not hard to be courteous clean up after yourself clean up after yourself you know a beautiful thing in Japanese culture is is to stop and enjoy your food and drinks right where you buy them and you know that will what that
Does is make you leave your trash where you buy it so you’re there at the store you’re there at the coffee shop you’re there at the restaurant you enjoy your food all of your trash stays there you get up and you walk on with your day cuz
You don’t need to carry it with you yeah uh that cuts down on the litter everywhere it cuts down on the you know the wasted Plastics everywhere uh they just have so much figured out and streamlined and it’s it it makes so much sense to get into an escalator to wait
Your turn to go on a train it’s not hard to let people off first before you push your way onto the train but other cities just that we haven’t experienced that since Japan I haven’t experienced since Japan or previous to Japan it’s not hard it’s it’s not it’s it’s just it’s
Respect for those around you and your time is not more important than anybody else’s time and I think having that recognition too and just know that you’re all going to get there everyone’s going to get there we have a friend from Japan and um she told us a long time ago
I remember her saying that basically they they’re kind of taught to treat others as they want to be treated so you know if you lost your wallet um you’d want someone to TR to return it to you so that’s what they do and you know we
Saw it happen a lady left her purse on the train I think I mentioned it in a different video she left it on the train the guy hopped up grabbed it ran out the door just as it was closing inconveniencing his day to go chase her
Down you know he’ll catch the next train he’ll make it work he’ll figure it out maybe he’s late for what’s important to him but he helped someone and it’s those little things that yeah or even if you get onto the train they have designated seats for pregnancy for um elderly for
Disabled anything like that and you will see people look around to make sure that no elderly had gotten on that no one pregnant got on cuz if they did they everybody gets up everybody moves out of the way to make sure that they get their seat there’s also women’s only train so
If you’re traveling at night time and you feel uncomfortable they have designated trains specific for women to traveling by themselves again a lot of this it’s actually similar to Korea so I shouldn’t say nowhere else uh Korea we saw a lot of the same stuff and you know
Especially the pregnancy seats the seats for old elderly um very well uh respected they did a great everyone would hop up definitely agree there and oh that’s I think just respecting your fellow man yeah that’s all it is it’s it’s something we’re missing from where where we’re from uh something we had I
Think when we were younger and and something that’s disappeared In Our Lifetime and uh we want to retach our kids that so the fact that now my boys get up when they see somebody else come in somebody older the boys get up and they get out of the way and now we have
People come up and they go wow that’s amazing thank you so much and they’re humbled by the fact that our kids are doing that because it’s what they’ve seen and now what they’re learning through the different cultures that we’ve been able to see throughout this world it’s amazing yeah so um
Overall we love Japan wish we could afford to stay longer wish we can afford to go back hopefully one day we can uh yeah trip of a lifetime yeah amazing Place love to go back do it yourself get out there quit living quit living through the videos of us doing it and
Get out there yourself y hopefully you enjoyed our journey so far uh there’s a lot more to go um yeah like And subscribe uh hit the notification Bell make sure you stay uh up to date with our new videos thanks for watching till the next One Oh
