Mount Rokko, or Rokkosan as the locals call their landmark, is located about 30 minutes from downtown Kobe.
A cable car takes you to the top (931 meters) where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Kobe and parts of Osaka.
Atop the highest peak in the Rokko mountain range, there are numerous attractions such as an outdoor leisure facility, a botanical garden, a music box museum and observation areas where you can enjoy the wonderful views while dining and relaxing.
