“Misato’s Journey LOG” begins. hello everyone. This is Misato. This is Tsuruhashi Station on the Osaka Loop Line. If you visit this station at night, the mouth-watering smell of yakiniku fills the air, but in the early morning it’s pretty normal.

Now, what I’m buying from the Midori ticket vending machine is the Seishun 18 Ticket. By the way , please think of the “Seishun 18 Kippu” as a ticket that allows you to ride as many non-reserved seats as you like on local trains on all JR lines for

One day, with one ticket being enough for five days. You can use it alone or with a group, and each ticket costs 12,050 yen, making it a cheap Totoku ticket. So this time, I will take a day trip to Kinosaki Onsen with the Seishun 18 Kippu. Please subscribe to the channel.

First, please stamp today’s ticket date at the ticket gate. At Tsuruhashi Station, the starting point, I skipped one of the trains listed on the information board and boarded the Osaka Loop Line inner loop train departing from Tsuruhashi at 6:27. It takes 15 minutes from Tsuruhashi to Osaka Station, arriving at 6:42.

Since I was able to arrive earlier than planned, I took the Tambaji Rapid train bound for Fukuchiyama, leaving at 6:47 a.m. on the Fukuchiyama Line, which was one train earlier. The train departed from Osaka Station with only a few people standing inside . It was just dawn, and it was getting brighter outside.

Exit Amagasaki Station and take the JR Kobe Line (Tokaido Main Line) to the JR Takarazuka Line (Fukuchiyama Line). This is the area where you leave Kita Itami and run along the Inagawa River. The number of standing passengers increased further from before and after Takarazuka Station.

Passing through Takedao Station, half on a bridge and half in a tunnel. I was able to sit down after passing Mita Station. This is Aimoto Station, the third station from Mita. Sasayamaguchi Station, where I transferred on my last round trip. This time I won’t get off because it goes directly to Fukuchiyama.

At Kashibara Station, an ekiben flag was erected. A noticeable number of commuters were getting off the train at this station. At Iso Station, the next station after Kashiwara, we stopped for 5 minutes and waited until we crossed paths with the oncoming train. It also stopped for 3 minutes at Tanba-Takeda Station, where

It crossed paths with Kounotori 8 bound for Shin-Osaka. In this way, we arrived at Fukuchiyama Station in 2 hours and 10 minutes from Osaka. Now, the transfer time at this station is 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was wondering how I was going to spend this long time, but

I saw Fukuchiyama Castle before arriving at Fukuchiyama Station, and it was apparently about a 17-minute walk away, so I decided to go there. I followed the navigation on Google Maps and walked near Fukuchiyama City Hall, and the castle looked like this.

After walking a little further, we arrived at the entrance of the castle. Fukuchiyama Castle is known as the castle built by Akechi Mitsuhide. It is located on a slightly elevated location and offers a panoramic view of the city. Although I didn’t go inside the castle tower

Because the transfer time was just over an hour , I felt satisfied that I got off and visited the castle midway. Now, I will return to the station and continue my 18 ticket journey. Next is the 10:12 train bound for Kinosaki Onsen.

This is a trip using only local trains, but this time, connecting from Osaka, you can get to Kinosaki Onsen with just one transfer. So, the train bound for Kinosaki Onsen has arrived. This is a JNR type 113 series train. Enjoy the 1 hour and 20 minute journey to Kinosaki Onsen

On this nostalgic train . The train departed from Fukuchiyama Station at 10:12. Shortly after departure, the MT54 type motor makes a loud noise, which was a characteristic of JNR trains at the time. From the train window, the train goes up the Maki River, a tributary of the Yura River.

At Shimoyakuno Station, the second stop from Fukuchiyama, we stopped for 4 minutes and waited until we crossed paths with Limited Express Kounotori No. 12. I had set foot in Kyoto Prefecture from Fukuchiyama, but I will return to Hyogo Prefecture from Yanase Station. At Wadayama Station, there was a red Bantan Line diesel car.

The river that runs parallel to it is the Maruyama River all the way to Kinosaki Onsen. We stopped for 3 minutes at Yoka Station and met up with limited express Kinosaki No. 12. I arrived at Toyooka Station, which is the next station to Kinosaki Onsen, at 11:21.

There was a Kiya 143 Russell car waiting for its turn in the snow season. At the next station, Genbudo Station, there is Genbudo Park on the opposite bank of the Maruyama River. If you zoom in and take a look, it looks like this. So, I arrived at Kinosaki Onsen Station.

It took 4 hours and 45 minutes to get there from Osaka Station. Now that you’ve come to Kinosaki Onsen, it’s definitely a hot spring. You can get a Kinosaki Onsen stroll map at the tourist information center in front of the station.

The business days and hours of the hot springs are also listed, so use this as a reference when heading to the hot springs. The scenery from this Jizoyu Bridge is very typical of Kinosaki. When I turned around on the bridge, the train to Tottori was about to leave.

Well, the outdoor bath we headed to this time was Gosho no Yu. In the historical story “Masukagami” from the Nanbokucho period, it is said that Emperor Gohorikawa’s sister, Ankamon-in, took a bath here , so this hot spring is called the “Gosho no Yu”. . The price is 800 yen for adults.

As it is a hot spring in the Imperial Palace, the atmosphere inside is also like this. Most of the baths were open-air baths, and the red maple leaves that were falling down on them gave it a nice atmosphere. After refreshing ourselves at the hot springs, we will go for lunch next.

The store I ended up walking to was Kaichuen, which sells fresh fish. There is a fish shop on the first floor and a restaurant on the second floor. I ordered the seafood bowl “Umi”. It contains plenty of 11 kinds of seafood, including crab, which is in season during winter.

My stomach was also very satisfied. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal. Afterwards, after buying some souvenirs, we returned to the station and headed home. Local train bound for Fukuchiyama departing from Kinosaki Onsen Station at 14:42. This time, we stayed at Kinosaki Onsen for a little over 3 hours.

If I could get home by the last train, I could stay longer, but I have some time constraints, so I’ll be heading home today. A 4-minute stop at Genbudo Station, the next station after Kinosaki Onsen. Waiting for the opposite train, Limited Express Kounotori 9, to cross paths.

When arriving at the next Toyooka Station, the opposite train bound for Kasumi, Hamakaze 3, also arrived. About 15 minutes after leaving Toyooka, the train passes through the Shukunami signal station , located between Ebara Station and Yoka Station . Although this area is single track, there is a track on the left side, and

I could see there was even a safety siding where it merged . At Yoka Station, the train stopped for 6 minutes, and during that time I went out to the front of the station. After a while, the opposite train, Limited Express Kinosaki No. 7, arrived, and

We had to wait for the train to cross on the single track. This is Wadayama Station. The sightseeing train “Umiyama Musubi” was used for the 3:50 pm Bantan Line train bound for Teramae . Passing Yanase Station, which is the next station after Wadayama,

The motor of the 223 series train is also roaring as it climbs uphill. You will soon come to the Yakuno Tunnel, and if you pass through it, you will enter Kyoto Prefecture from Hyogo Prefecture and arrive at Kamiyakuno Station. At the next station, Shimoyakuno Station, the train stopped for 4 minutes, but

The train departed without any mistakes or evacuations of the express train. Kamikawaguchi Station, one station before Fukuchiyama, is a 9-minute stop. I went out to the station for a while. While we were waiting, it started to rain, and the train driver informed us that the train we were passing was a little late

. After about 2-3 minutes delay, I saw a local train bound for Toyooka. By the way, I have fond memories of Kamikawaguchi Station from about two years ago. Similarly, I was on the upbound train bound for Fukuchiyama, but due to a delay, I arrived at just after 1:40 a.m.

The train was stopping at this station. I remember that it made me feel like I was riding the 113 series night train . After saying goodbye to Kamikawaguchi Station, I was on my way to Fukuchiyama Station when I saw Kiha 85, which was about to begin its second life.

Wouldn’t this be the Fukuchiyama branch of the Kyoto Tango Railway? Thus, we arrived at Fukuchiyama at 16:27, 3 minutes late. I had about 25 minutes until the next train, so I took a walk around the station. This is the transfer gate between JR and Kyoto Tango Railway.

After admiring the turntable at the south exit of the station and steam locomotive C11 No. 40, it was time to return to the platform. On the platform, the first express train bound for Kyoto, Hashidate No. 6, arrived, as well as

The limited express train Kounotori No. 22, bound for Shin-Osaka via the Fukuchiyama Line. After Limited Express Hashidate No. 6 departed, my train, bound for Kyoto at 4:52 p.m., also arrived. After Kounotori 22 departs, my train also departs. Broadcast: “This train is bound for Kyoto.”

Fukuchiyama Castle, where we stopped in the morning, is lit up. Ayabe Station is the transfer station for the Maizuru Line. It’s past 5pm and it’s rush hour to get home. Tachiki Station is the second station from Ayabe. The evening rush ended quickly and we stopped at this station for 5 minutes.

During this time, I crossed paths with Limited Express Kinosaki No. 11 and Maizuru No. 9. The inside of the train was deserted when the train departed from Tachiki Station. 3 minute stop at Goma Station. Here, I mistook the local train bound for Fukuchiyama. It also stops at Funaoka Station for 5 minutes.

There were more voices in the train, but there were a lot of people boarding in front of the Acupuncture University, two seats ahead, and the seats were almost all occupied. He is also sitting next to me, so

At times like this he doesn’t move even if the car is stopped for a long time. Here, I mistook the limited express Kinosaki No. 13. The train arrived at Sonobe Station. You can still go to Kyoto if you continue on this train, but the rapid train starts first,

So you have to change trains. However, this local train has an additional train at Sonobe, so you will have to wait for a while until the doors open. As soon as the doors opened, everyone boarded the express train. We secured seats facing each other and departed from Sonobe Station.

The section beyond Sonobe is called the Sagano Line. The train will now be on double track, so you won’t have to wait in the wrong direction as you head towards Kyoto. As we get closer to Kyoto, the train gets crowded with many people standing around. The train arrived in Kyoto at 18:53.

From Kyoto onward, I will be using the Kintetsu train, so this is the end of my “Seishun 18 Kippu” trip. I have 4 days left on my “Seishun 18 Ticket” and plan to go out to hot springs and other things. Look forward to the next video.

Thank you very much for watching until the end this time. Thank you for subscribing to our channel. I would be happy if you could rate it as well.
