* About Okayama
Okayama prefecture is located in Chugoku area, Honshu island. And it has about 90 islands in Setonaikai sea.
Many years ago, Okayama was called “Kibikoku”.
We don’t have many rains. So, our motto is “晴れの国 おかやま” which means “sunny country Okayama”. But we have three large rivers. So we have a lot of water.
Okayama is famous in the fruit. Peach is one of them. We call it Hakutou(白桃).
Okayama has many places to visit. If you have enough money and time, please visit Okayama.

* How to access
Okayama has a airport called “Okayama Airport(岡山空港)”.
You can come from Soul(Korea), Shanghai(China), Tairen(China), Beijing(China), Guam(US), Tokyo, Sapporo, Kagoshima and Okinawa by plane.
If you use Kansai International Airport in Osaka, you can come from 28 different counties (70 cities).
Okayama Station is the biggest station in Okayama. If you use Shinkansen(新幹線, super express), it takes 3 hours to get to Okayama from Tokyo station, and it takes 1 hour from Osaka, and 2 hours from Hakata.
