Coming from Fukuoka to Tainan, Taiwan. I took the Tigerair Taiwan first and then got transferred to Taiwan Railways. You have to take 3 types of railways, Taoyuan Metro, THSR and Shalun Line, to get to Tainan from Taoyuan International Airport. Also you can hear Various languages on your route with various accents.
I took the short term lesson to get to know Taiwanese which means Southern Min language native to and originating from the Minnan region, in the southeastern part of Fujian in southeastern mainland China or simply known as Hokkien for this trip. I am writing a Blog, as a visual communication designer, about my vision of Chinese culture based on various Chinese languages. It was published with the title ‘Canto and Mando’, by Salon Press.
