✨Things to know

👉From Shinjuku station, just take Keio Line to Takaosanguchi Station. in case you have JR pass, you can take Chuo Line to Takao Station & from there transfer to Keio Line.
👉Take discounted tickets that include return train tickets, cable/chair passes from ticket vending machine at Shinjuku station. Will save time & money both.
👉You can choose between cable/chair car.One went up via chair car & came down via cable car
👉Do note this will only take you to the mid way, from there you will find 6-7 trails.
👉You can choose any trail (1.5-3km) that will lead you to the top. We chose Trail 4(which has suspension bridge) while going up & Trail 1 (main trail having shops, restaurants, shrines) while coming down
👉At top, on a clear day you get to see Mt. Fuji.
👉Cost:- 1490yen pp (discounted price) from Shinjuku
👉You can hike also from the base, do note there is steep climb in the beginning
👉 Because of its proximity to Tokyo, it gets crowded over the weekend. Plan your visit during weekdays or early morning
