last stay I filled Star Wars coke bottles with all the shampoo, conditioner and soap from out hotel bath just because I thought H20 was going away. I love this stuff!
I still have a few of the old shampoo and conditioners with the mickey ears, I'll trade ya for that hat box ghost sipper!
I seriously need to win a lottery soon because I really want to go to Tokyo Disney Resort!
I’m excited for these expanses to HM. As a disabled person I’ve had to do the “stay in your seat and go fully back around to the front of the ride to exit” scenario and it is a lot of work for the cast. Glad they’re adding accessibility! I hope the line refurbish means they’ll make those paths accessible too.
Do Disneyland in Northern California.
Captain Nemo is Sikh, right? That would be strictly vegetarian.
Tom, I remember the Mickey Mouse toiletries as well. We still have a bar of soap from a previous trip.
Glad tokyos redoing space mountain. It’s great way to modernize a claasic
About the ride Overlays… I knew about the Christmas overlay for Haunted Mansion, and a trip I had lined up just right to Disneyland and I got to experience it. Loved it, wish we had it in Disney World so that I don't have to go to California to experience it. Was surprised with Hyperspace mountain overlay and once again loved it. It caught my daughter and I off guard and was nice to have a different Star Wars themed experience, once again wishing we had that in Disney World. I also wish Disney World could get the enhanced Thunder mountain effects. I just have no idea why these things don't make it to Florida. I guess that would be the only downside I see in these overlays. Seems like because Disney World has more parks they don't bother bringing the overlays there. At least they are leaving alone our Tower of Terror ride as I do not want it to turn into Guardians. Don't get me wrong I liked the Guardians version, but not at the expense of losing the Hollywood Tower version of the Tower of Terror.
Is the news coming back to Apple Podcasts? I can only see the long-form episodes.
I liked what they had before H2O. I was looking forward to a change
I loved the way they use to do the toiletries!
How about you provide an update on the Disney / RCID unbelievable legal issues. That is a very serious problem for Disney and I think the "Disney Fans" need to know just how sinister Disney has been over the years … I mean really – Soap, that's your big news?

It’s funny, I rode the swan boats on my first visit to Disney World back in 1975. I didn’t go back again until 1991 and they were no longer there, but they did have swan paddle boats at the Swan and Dolphin hotel next the the resort we stayed at (Disney Yacht Club).
It’s amazing all the things that used to occur with minimal impact to park guests that now occur during park hours. I mean, there were closures for refurbishment and maintenance, but you knew about it prior to your trip (if your travel agent was good) or when you arrived. The work did not occur with park goers in the parks and you never saw a construction worker, let alone heard them swearing over the construction walls.
I get that times have changed, but Disney could have continued the practices that lead to park goer enjoyment. They are now instead concentrated on money. If they would go back to running these parks the way they did pre 9/11, they would see an instant increase in profits without raising the price on a single item. Heck, they could even go back to not charging for the line skipping (really line shortening) option and still be ahead. I mean, wasn’t that the FastPass slogan?….no additional charge, unlike the competition.
Bring back all the Disney employees that were displaced due to downsizing, outsourcing, and the pandemic. There were so many wonderful, helpful, and productive cast members back in the early 1990s that have had their positions eliminated or outsourced and the parks were so much fun back then. The current management chain does not understand the importance of worker pride and that’s a huge issue. Happy workers are the best ones to have. Recently, that has impacted the Disney experience. Not having the ability to be spontaneous is another, though they are trying to fix this with allowing all day park hopping in 2024 (they need to have it for everyone, don’t punish the loyal pass holders).
I hate ranting like this, but it is only because I know they can do better…because they have.
They have to add an elevator for Ada compliance. That’s the whole reason for the big shutdown so while they’re making those changes they’re re doing the queue and tue small gift shop will be at the exit. With Tiana bayou next door they need to get the queue out of the walkways
I can't wait to go to Tokyo Disney Resort!!!
Why is disney closing space mountain forever???????
Imagine we get a new Space Mountain at MK…
Tokyo Disney won't have to mess with an Italy booth at their Food and Wine Festival, such lucky ones! 🤣
I guess Rocky Flair is finally done. No more oldest ride longest line.
I have been on the swan boat ride when I was a kid, I also have a red mickey mouse soap still in the box.
I love love the H2O+ stuff so happy its coming back, been trying to make my lotion last, spent 30 min in Walmart one day smelling all the lotions to see if one even came close to the smell, it has such a fresh clean smell.
So let’s see, Asia gets TWO Frozen lands (Hong Kong and Tokyo), but the U.S. gets NONE! Ok, got it.
Misleading title
mermaids eat people
I miss the black and white / red toiletries as much as I miss the purple plates and cups with mickeys with conversation bubbles.
Disney Sea is not the best park in the world. Unless you like listening to everything in Japanese.
I really enjoy the holiday overlays of Haunted Mansion & Small World. I also used to love the Country Bears Christmas Ho Down. If Disney were smart, they would look at other attractions that would work for a holiday overlay. One I think would be great for DCA would be Soarin' over the Holidays. Show different holiday displays from around the country and around the world. For Hollywood Studios in WDW what about Muppets 3D Holidays or create a Beauty and Beast Belle's Enchanted Christmas show for the holidays.
I love holiday overlays 12:00 wish they would do more I was so disappointed Ijust missed the Country Bear by a year 😢
Would kill to have the haunted mansion holiday overlay at WDW.
The HM shoppe looks small… did they not learn anything from Momento Mori? That store is a nightmare to shop in when it's crowded, which is most of the time. I'm hoping there's a 2nd level.
Thank God for fast forward. This news is pointless block loser
SEA in the future should be SPACE! Society of Planetary Adventures and Cosmic Explorers
Tom and figment give me strength to finish 19.3 miles for that stupid stitch medal.
you got me worried about Space Mountain only to find out it was just Tokyo Disneyland.
I like og haunted mansion, not a fan of the overlay
There are a lot of comments about “click bait”. I watch all the episodes regardless, because they’re always interesting.
Everybody neat and pretty? Then on with the show… Weirdest soap box text ever but so magic
clickbait thumbnail cringe
Hoping you mention how park attendance is after the January 2024 "no more reservations to go to the parks!" This will mark my return to the parks now that this stupid policy has been rescinded.
Yes, I do recall the Mickey Mouse soap with the red cap. LoL
SPACE MOUNTAIN CLOSING. I panicked when I read that headline. I know I am getting old, but? You see, I was one of six Walt Disney World Operations employees selected to be trainers and leads for the original opening. I was working on Monorails at the time. Only 19 years ol.d and in college. I started on the Opening Day in 1971. We started in September 1974 during the last phase of construction. We wrote a SOP. Standard Operating Procedures manual. Training ourselves in all of the dirt and dust, we trained and qualified about 180 cast members. With both tracks operational, the attraction took 36 cast members to operate. The official opening day was January 15, 1975. It was sponsored by RCA at the time. It was quite a time. I transferred to Cash Control, left Disney in April 1979, and began a 36-year career at American Airlines. I took an early retirement 10 years ago in October 2013. I have not been back to WDW in about 25 years and have no desire to. I do encourage everyone there to take as many different jobs as you can. If you leave, Disney always looks good on a resume.
Eff…going to DL from MI with someone who's never been in May…will suck that we won't get to see the Mansion, it's my favorite.
Disney sucks the m she u
