Students from an elite girls’ soccer academy in Sendai, Japan, are visiting Kelowna from July 6th to 9th to study English at International Gateway. They watched the FIFA Women’s World Cup Finals in Vancouver on July 5th, in which alumni of their school played, and they will be facing off against local teams in Kelowna’s City Park throughout their stay.
