In this video, I went to Jakarta, Indonesia, to experience some of their buffet restaurant. I found a buffet that is believably cheap at only $4, another one that is $8, and a hotel buffet that costs $38. They were all really great in their own way, so please enjoy every moment of this video! 😊

    yes.. buffet is a mix 50/50 chance you can get bad food or very delicious food.
    now take a chance to walk yourself and try some streetfood in jakarta

    Thing is that we practically grew up watching anime and listening to kpops but now newer kpop songs aren't that good anymore for me at least i'm still listening to older songs

    Rule number 1 never go into hotel buffet in Indonesia, from the look of mie goreng and nasi goreng I can imagine how generic the taste is

    Indonesia – Jakarta is one of prime destination for Korean migrants. Back in late 1990s – they are mostly Korean church missionaries, and they mostly nestled in my neighbourhood of Kelapa Gading – we have so many Korean restaurants and supermarkets, including a very big Lotte mart, Mu Gung Hwa, and Hanyang. Today though, they are all kinds of Koreans, including our very own national team football coach, and all those Hyundai / LG Chem engineers. But the trendiest is definitely in Jalan Senayan, Kebayoran Baru – a lot of Korean shops, including barber shop, and 2 storey Mu Gung Hwa supermarket. We have Ajummas and Ajushis making their own fresh batch of various kimchis as well as made-to-order Yangnyeom or Ganjang gejang or Korean seasoned raw crab. It is quite crazy.
    Since Korean food is directly introduced in Indonesia by actual Korean, they are largely still very authentic compared to everywhere else nearby, even in more cosmopolitan places like Sydney, Australia and Singapore. Korean cuisine is also relatively very new in Indonesia, there is just not much time to evolve or blend in with local dishes or "fusion", besides local dishes starting to use gochujang sauces.

    Funny thing that i know someone whose name Jiwon.Dimsum was awesome. So Jiwon restaurant was inspired by you,thats crazy.Your buffet videos are the best on Youtube.I think expensive buffets have better desserts,but cheaper buffets have better tasting food.
