Walking around the infamous Ho Chi Minh City Nightlife area in District 1. Click here ▶ to see highlights and guide.
(From Wiki):
Ho Chi Minh City also known by its former name of Saigon , is the most populous city in Vietnam with a population of 8.4 million as of 2017. Located in southeastern Vietnam, the metropolis surrounds the Saigon River and covers about 2,061 square kilometres (796 square miles). From 1955 to 1975, Saigon was the capital of the Republic of Vietnam, commonly known as South Vietnam.
Ho Chi Minh City’s nightlife scene varies from one district to another, though venues that play live music close soon after midnight due to Vietnam’s rather strict laws. If you’re looking to party in style, District 1’s rooftop bars and swanky nightclubs stay open until 03:00 or later, offering excellent service, dance tunes, stylish ambience, well-dressed crowds, and panoramic views of the vibrant city.

Vietnam always welcomes you
so much energy in this city
Western People: Communism is so boring and lifeless!
Vietnam: I'm sorry, did you say something?
Wow what a beautiful night scene. Love it. Wish I could visit someday
I'm glad I went to HCMC years ago before everyone and their dog started going.

It's nice to spend time watching the world go by. Thank you for great video.
Just in the center of Saigon city, you will see the streets like this and if you go to another district it will not look like this. This place is my mom's family used to live so is kind the crazy and noisy but just only Saigon has this atmosphere. And if Viet.Cong not come to the Southern and take everything we’ll be a poor country 🙂 sad
Also, I have reminded you guys. Our Vietnam flag is not this one 🇻🇳. Our flag is “yellow and has three red lines” that was OUR FLAG. If some Vietnamese in here argue that topic then ~ why you guys don’t go to ask your parents and grandparents about the flag yellow has three red lines. It is Our Vietnamese flag?
This will sink in 8 years
Question what is like in Ho Chi Minh City ? When I was turning 15 back in 2007 I met Vietnamese for the first time. I never have friends from Vietnam nor neighbors from there
Could I get sh*tfaced drunk in this place, or is it one of those areas where I'd wake up with my wallet and phone gone?
Wow!
Vietnam is like my home manila Philippines
satanic rave culture
Very cool. That place is jumping. I would love to go there someday.
lol, you was in the wrong side of the flow. I live near this walking street, but I've only been there once. And I'm glad it's slowly getting back lively like this after nearly 2 years closed because of covid. Thank you for a wonderful vid.
Very nice walk first time seeing Ho Chi Minh City.
Not going to say that the Vietnamese are tall people like with the Dutch and other northern Europeans or the Chinese in northern China like in Shandong, but they look taller on average then what I read from Wikipedia, which says 168 cm or 5'6" for men and 156 cm or 5'1.5" for women. Maybe for overall when the senior citizen aged population is included that this average is accurate but not for the younger generation because here in the USA I am a 5'7" 170 cm European American man and most young adult Vietnamese American men are taller then myself and really don't look any shorter on average then European American men which is 5"9" 175 cm. Young adult Vietnamese American women also look taller then 5'1.5" or 156 cm and look closer to 162.5 cm or 5'4" for average height. I don't think of Vietnamese young adult people of being that short anymore because Vietnamese Americans with their young adult population are pretty much equal to us European Americans and so do these young adult Vietnamese in Vietnam from looking in this video.

Looks like it’s a non walking street.
Was there 2016.
I arrived half dead at 5 in the morning from Dalat via Nightbus.
Bought 3 Tiger, went to the next hostel (think it was something like slumber party hostel), slept til like 4 and went on my first pub crawls.
I don't drink alcohol but there I did. It was a crazy two days.
