Unlike some other Asian counties, Japan doesn’t have much of a permanent night market scene, except during festivals, when loud, rowdy and friendly night markets could often be found nearby.

Such was the night market for “Tori-no-Ichi” Festivals of Ohtori Shrine in Asakusa, Tokyo, as shown in the video.

There were a dozen or so street food options, as well as a variety of specialty drinks. The streets were heavy with appetizing food flavors. As it was getting darker, more and more people found their way into this night market.
