Japan’s luxury train, The Saphir DORIKO; six-person private compartment

The “Saphir Odoriko” sightseeing express train started operation on March 14, 2020. It is a high-class train with all cars being green cars or better, and is the first JR East train to introduce Premium Green Cars, which are even better than the Green Cars. In addition, there are four private green rooms that can accommodate one to four passengers and four rooms that can accommodate one to six passengers. In addition, Car 4 has a cafeteria with an open kitchen.
I was impressed by the spaciousness of the 6-person private room, the comfort of the chairs, the view from the window, and the interior decoration, all of which were elegant and comfortable. I would like to ride again with my family and friends.
