osaka’s monorail (run by Osaka Monorail Co., Ltd. (大阪モノレール株式会社) at 17 miles long, is the second longest monorail system in the world (after the Chongqing monorail) and is able to switch its tracks at this busy transfer station between the two monorail lines. this pattern happens every 10 minutes when they all arrive at once.
The daily ridership is 121,441 passengers (2022) and the annual ridership is 38,067,000 passengers (2021)
