Hello this is Jen Noble of Jenuinely Happy! I travelled for the first time in Japan with my family! This vlog is in Tagalog / English but will try to put up some captions. We ate A LOT so this vlog will be full of FOOD!

Sharing with you our travel itinerary (that may serve as your travel guide) in our 7 days trip to Tokyo and some points I failed to mention on my vlog :

Day 1 : Arrival in Japan, Ate Tonkatsu dinner at Saboten.

Day 2 : Tomato Ramen at Kinsicho Station, Harajuku, Dinner at Koreatown (Shinokubo) – Shinchan.

I highly recommend Tomato Ramen.
For Shinchan, I enjoyed the Korean fried chicken, Tteokbokki and the corn with cheese! Cheese is always a winner for me!

Day 3 : EXPLORE Shibuya and Ebisu
We went to church at Every Nation Tokyo Shibuya. Afterwards, we went to see the Shibuya Crossing and Hachiko which is just nearby. We also went to Ebisu Garden Place because my sister is a solid fan of Hanayori Dango. Nothing special for those who have no idea about the background of the place. Tried to visit Meiji Shrine but it was closed when we arrived. Tried The Gindaco’s Takoyaki. It was the best takoyaki I’ve had in my life. We then travelled back to Shibuya to dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market. Halal approved food! They served simple fish and chips but really enjoyed this place because we were accompanied by friends from Japan.

Day 4 : Stroll at Shinjuku Gyoen – Sensoji Temple at Asakusa
Shinjuku Gyoen is a large park and garden. My family definitely loved strolling here. We stayed here for hours and you won’t notice because the place is very wide. I like this Hanami spot because it is very spacious. It has 3 different types of gardens. Before it closed, we left for Asakusa to see Sensoji Temple.

Day 5 : Spent the entire day at DisneySea.
Based from reviews of those people I’ve asked, they liked Tokyo Disney Sea than Tokyo Disneyland why we went for it.

Day 6 : tried Matsuya – Ueno Park – Ameyoko Market (Ameyokocho) – Ichiran – Tokyo Station (Tokyo Banana)
For brunch, we’ve had Matsuya. Matsuya is a Japanese fast food chain that is cheap, quick, convenient. We ate here twice because we liked it here, aside from it is just near where we stayed at.
Ueno Park is a large public park next to Ueno Station in central Tokyo. Ueno Park is a nice hanami spot, too.
Was thinking to do a food trip in Ameyoko Market but didn’t really like anything, aside from maybe we were kinda full when we went and we are planning to eat at Ichiran after, so we just roamed the place for cheap stuff. We scored some sale items there.
Ichiran is hailed to be one of the best ramens in Japan. I highly recommend you to try this!
Our friend recommended Tokyo Banana so we went to Tokyo Station to hunt for it. It tastes okay, won’t rave about it though. At the Tokyo Station, it is a walking distance from Imperial Palace. It was pretty late so we weren’t able to go so we went back the next day. We also have to make some changes in our itinerary because we have an “elderly” in our group :))

Day 7 : Imperial Palace – Uobei Genki Sushi at Shibuya – Shopping at Don Quijote Shibuya
The Tokyo Imperial Palace is the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan. Most of the palace grounds are not open to the public except for the East Gardens.
Uobei Genki Sushi : Affordable sushi train in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The location is accessible, convenient and easy to find. It is a fun type of dining experience because of the robotics (conveyor belt). You wouldn’t want to miss when in Tokyo! Plus the sushi is so fresh and fast!
Don Quijote Shibuya (Shibuya Mega Donki) is the biggest Don Quijote store in Japan. You get huge discounts if you’re a tourist. Always bring your passport.

The places we’ve went to in Tokyo are very instagrammable or perhaps best instagram places in Tokyo!
