Japan’s main island, Honshu, is home to the coastal city of Hamamatsu. The coastline is bordered by the loggerhead turtle breeding grounds, the Nakatajima Sand Dunes. The international exhibits of the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments are located close to the Act Tower skyscraper, which is shaped like a harmonica. Over 400 cherry trees and an observatory with views of the Pacific Ocean can be found at the 16th-century Hamamatsu Castle, which has been rebuilt.
