  1. HAHAHA… Wendy's in downtown Kyoto, just showed up on my Google search two weeks ago (I ate there). I had no clue it was there or if it is new. I knew they had them in Tokyo, but not Kansai. There is also a First Kitchen that I've know about a few blocks away, but they do not sell Wendy's brand food there. Wendy's has been in Tokyo for a couple years now. Are you sure you bought a Wendy's brand hamburger or a First Kitchen brand hamburger, because I think they may be two separate things.

  2. When I was in Japan I used eat at First Kitchen quite a bit. I always ordered their basic Teriyaki Burger. Japanese do a lot of weird things with burgers, and most of them are not great, but Teriyaki Burgers FTW. Teriyaki sauce should be available on burgers everywhere.

  3. Well best of luck to them
When they tried to expand into my country back in the 80s they quickly folded and pulled out.

  4. Sorry, I got to say, I'm a little disappointed… I was looking forward to some good Wendy's shots… And they didn't even have the Frosty.

Wow, I just realized how sad that sounds…

  5. Yeah square? Is first kitchen a Japanese chain? I'm suprised u not care for but for me Wendy quality way better than anyone else. May I suggest try again about a month later when kinks worked out?

  6. Hi Scott just wanted to let you know Wendy's was in Japan before but left. They returned in 2011. There was a shop in Harajuku but it closed. There is one near Roppongi.

  7. Hope that Wendy's expands their franchise. This one is actually the 2nd Wendy's that comes to Japan. They do have Mushroom Burgers here in the US. During the late 90's and 2000's, Wendy's went downhill cause their burger patties were losing their edge. However in 2010, the fast food place went back to their roots and brought back the original Square Patties….Thank God for that! Japan Wendy's looks like they added some crazy items to their menu haha!

  8. The mushroom burgers and the pretzel burgers have been available over here in America for going on….five years now.
