How do you adapt to the heat and humidity? It's 30Β° F here today. So would it be easier to visit the Philippines in the Summer when I'm used to warmer(ish) weather or go in the Winter? Any suggestions from anyone is very appreciated.
From what I can gather, the likes of Samar is quite light on tourists? Ironic really as I am off there for a while in March π once again Jonathan excellent video.
Just be you and nothing less, just be careful on whatever you do remember thereβs some honest and not honest which they will take advantage, gut feelings is good π
I am traveling there in February for 2 weeks. is there anything I need to do before I leave paperwork wise or anything else ?
You are doing awesome Jonathan! I've visited more places in the last 2 years (July-August) since we left 30 years ago! From Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Luzon to Zamboanga City, Mindanao. Will be coming home to spend my very 1st Christmas and will be venturing up north Luzon to Pagudpud and will be back again next July-August. The adventures have been so amazing and memorable. Keep the great vlogs coming!!
hope tou travel to the mountains too, like Northern Luzon, Cordillera, Baguio City.,,
Here to get your secrets. Wouldn't have guessed you are from Alabama.
Yeah, Jonathan. I was on Bantyan Island for a week last September. It was incredible. The highlight of my month in Phillipines. It was off peak, so very few tourists.
Thanks for sharing π Great questions also.π
Awesome vlogs! My husband and I like watchin your content. Im impressed you like "gata" food cook in fresh coconut milk and spicy. It is really very delicious viand. One suggestion..since you like "gata" pls visit province of Bicol/Legaspi City. This is the home of "gata" or majority of their food are all cook in gata and spicy. This is home of the legendary perfect cone Mayon Volcano…bring your drone. This is very beautiful province. You can fly or ride a bus! Please visit as many beautiful places in the Philippines. You will love it . Will wait for you vlog when u visit Bicol…the home of gata food and Mayon Volcano the perfect cone!

Have you considered doing the plunge at Danao adventure park? It's the highest canyon swing in the world.
your best video for me was when you went to the poor parts of manila and immerse yourself with the locals,, it was a good experience for you and the viewers.. and set you up for better relations with the people and understanding their situation. and learning the games the kids play and bringing smiles on their faces.
yo dont miss the Sinulog festival on cebu (january) im telling you. youll have fun

Is setting up a little business possible for a foreigner in the phillipines?
You trying to mimick the YouTuber intro πππ Happy you're genuine
I like the way you converse and Talk , I also analyse things thoroughly like the way you answer all questionsπ like the openness of your vlogs and very pleasing personality. I was in the Philippines last week, travelled most part of the Philippines and like you I was given opportunity to travel and work around the globe, after living in the USA, Canada, Singapore, Japan etc but I decided to settle here in London where my heart and soul possibly belongs. We always search things in life but we never know the future so we keep on exploring whatever comes along. Bless you β€οΈππ»
Excellent video. Your section about Anne shows your respect and value for your friendship with her. Sometimes friendships are just that special that you are meant to stay friends.

AS far as Vegan food, right there in El Nido there is a place called Ver De that has a really good menu of plant based food. There is another Ver De in Puerto Princesa if you are getting to Palawan that way. It's really close to the SM Mall. I can't remember if its the same menu at both locatios, but the one in Puerto Princessa at least has some amazing vegan nachos!

Coffee bought!! Thanks so much for all your content, Jonathan, you have a great personality for doing this. You're actually doing a public service by showing the culture of the Philippine society, and you're doing it in a non-abrasive, and good way. I'm wanting to go to the Phils and your channel has been a great influence for me to pull the trigger. I'd like to see you do a piece on Baguio. Thanks buddy!!
